jackyboy
Eddie probably building up his fitness like he seems to do with all his new players. Our 4th goal came from his closing down and winning the ball to start the move

Guest
Thought when we signed him it had shades of Milner leaving us for Villa and still think that. We could see he had something, Villa got it out of him. I think Howe will be the one that unleashes Gordon the way O'Neill did the same for Milner. La Parka
It's coming back like. He's not been great in this one. Spat his dummy out : ? Edited April 8, 2023 by La Parka

BlazeT44
Not sure why he was upset? Being subbed off? If so, not a good sign.
Whitley mag
I’d be more worried if he wasn’t disappointed.
The Butcher
It's a fucking good sign that he got upset by being subbed. Would be more concerning if he didn't give a fuck. Played his part and should've had a hockey assist for Anderson's chance. Great little run. He'll be a player. Gallowgate Toon
Think he'd just picked up a knock. Thought he was generally fine and set up that good chance at the end.
LiquidAK
Thought he was good when he came on tbh.
Doctor Zaius
Think he was more frustrated at himself for giving away two free kicks that almost lead to goals.
Aiston
He was good today, would start him next game. Murphy needs a rest.
Amir_9
Think he played okay personally, obviously given his age and he's only joined in January its still early days to be overly critical.
Myleftboot
He should have took burn off though with him being the furthest player away to waste a bit time.
Ginola
He just didn't want to be subbed off, fucking hell lads Some of the reactions here are daft. Put in a shift when he came on too
Holmesy
I love that he was pissed off. He’s sat on the bench all the time desperately wanting to be involved. Gets a half and then gets brought off after playing well. It’s frustration, it’s passion, it’s disappointment, it’s desire, it’s everything you want your players to show so you know they care. Zero
He is probably upset that Anderson missed the sitter
The Butcher
Would start him over Murphy every day of the week, even though Murphy's been good lately.
Yorkie
Didn't see today but thought he was excellent against ManU and made a positive contribution against West Ham. Excited to see more from him, particularly after a full pre-season.
BlazeT44
Why would you be even upset there, as a player? The manager trusts you to do a job at half time. You're part of the solution and you get the result. That's going to be hugely favourable for you going forward. He should have walked off, rolled his socks down and winked on the way off. Not act like a cretin, cause a scene and potentially make the post match interviews about your reaction (and not a great second half performance) It just smacks of a lack of maturity. Him before team...
