I think he starts 50% of games for me.  I would say Bruno and Tonali are first choice but I also don't think Miley and those 2 as a 3 would work well.  We need a different type of midfielder.  When Willock is on form, maybe its him but I doubt it.  We sorely lack someone whose main skillset is operating in the final third but is good out of possesion.

Kid was playing and not looking out of place at 17, he just scored and assisted a week ago in the premier league and i've seen far more from him for us then Anderson who is now an England starter, just believe in him and support him. he's one of our own ffs.

People were piling in on Gordon just a couple of days ago.

And then he plays like he did today. Hasn’t been often enough though lately so different people have different opinions about the players. Why is that a problem?

Thankfully the number on here who advocate loaning him out has now diminished to not very many.

Just so it's clear, he will not be going out on loan, he never was going to go out on loan even as a 17 or 18 year old, EH has always wanted him in and around the squad and it will take some radical change in circumstances for that to alter.

Should be in the first choice three by now. Joelinton is stinking out the gaff every single week and Miley has played very well every time he's been given a chance.

Making huge strides this season and changed the game. Made some great inceptions and linked up the play well and that was before his goal. 

 

Would still be tempted to play Joelinton to win the physical battle on Sunday but he can't be far off being in the starting XI.
