NUFC Transfer Rumours

Genuinely have no idea why people think signing players we’ve been looking at for a long time is a bad thing.

People enjoy the novelty of a brand new player to research/watch hastily assembled YouTube compilations of. Theres also the hope that if you’ve never heard of him he could be the next superstar in waiting.

this is also why there is such antipathy towards premier league players linked who aren’t already superstars.

Offensive midfielder is exactly what we need to be fair

Trying to see the split between what we have or do we think big joe/bruno/tonali can do DM role or attacking one?

Still dont know what miley is either obviously  I dont think willock is good enough but being injured means he won't go this window and I guess is more attacking?

I would love one of each as I feel with all the games we are going to have to do more changes than 1 of bruno or tonali drop out/rested.

Not a fan of Ramsdale?

I don’t mind him. Think and hope that he can do well and find his best form again. I just meant that considering we’ve got a CB and GK for quite cheap then we should have funds left for other areas and go a bit bolder.

AMs are out of fashion, so there's a lot of decent ones out there still waiting for a pickup. Akliouche and Mitaukadze from Ligue 1, for example, the latter of which is available at a seemingly bargain price. If we're indeed shopping in Serie A, the logical buy would be Nico Paz from Como, they bought him last summer for only 6 million Euros and he's typical "Barca technique" but lots of running and bite. Nifty little player.
