NUFC Transfer Rumours

Is it not likely that Willock is seen as one of the six that he wants to have for the season?

We’re presently down to four with his injury but I don’t think we will be able to just write him off as a squad option for the whole year.

I would expect it will be one midfielder brought in.

Willock writes himself off every season with injuries.  Not his fault and its such a shame as without the injuries he'd be top class now I think.

If he turns down the opportunity to play with Bruno then he should be disowned.

They’ll double his wages and he’ll be a little bit further up the road from his mate and probably be just fine. If this summer has told me anything it’s never underestimate how little most players care for anything outside of their pay cheque.

We definitely need creativity but if Bruno, or Tonali got a serious injury we’d be fucked.

Nmecha bossed the game at SJP for Dortmund, powerful unit and technically very good. Could get on board with this signing, doesn’t answer our creativity problem but think we’d look much stronger in midfield if we got him.

On a side note if Isak does go we should be able to afford 2 strikers and Ackliouche.

use Šeško money on Wharton, get Wissa for Wilson replacement and keep Isak til next summer

or get Paqueta and Rudoni for the same price as Wharton, Wissa and Jackson/Samu after selling Isak

what would you prefer

Surely the whole point of a ‘database nonce’ is to put on your radar players that you are not familiar with, rather than players from the club they used to work for, who you’ve likely scouted to some degree anyway?

Pretty sure they just get a copy of Football Manager and let the actual database nonces do the work. Does no-one remember Ibrahim Bakayoko?

We're fine for deep lying midfielders, we need a CM who can score and create goals going forward

That’s Tonali and Bruno if we have someone then to sit deep and let them do damage in attack. ATM, one of them rotates (Tonali best) and Joelinton is up there missing headers from 4 yards.

THIS.. all day.

Not sure if that is what we are looking for with the Rudoni links. We tons in the engine room though and lack that creative genius, spontaneous shooter or dribbler through the middle.

Jesus Christ. Surely this is a wind up post and I missed the joke?

We just played two friendlies and in both 11's had to have Ashby and Targett playing out of position in midfield to make up the 3. If that doesn't tell you we need more depth in midfield I don't know what does.

Simmer down there lad.

Fab claiming we're looking at other players in Serie A.

I wouldn't be surprised if we went in for Ederson, give we've went in before.

Find myself agreeing again. For the record

Would love Paqueta. Actually think he’d bring a much needed lift off the pitch as much as on it.
