We're back to needing to fix a majority of positions, and so soon :(

Summer was a disaster if Elanga and Ramsey don’t come good. Due to PSR we could ill afford to get one big deal wrong, yet alone potentially two.

We also need a return from Wissa soon due to his age and no re-sale value.

The repercussions of the summer could be felt for a long time if things don’t pick up quickly.

I don't think that's true, there's no fundamental quality issue imo. There's a fix within the squad but an addition or two would never hurt.

Honestly feel like we should just get a few more leaders in. Xhaka would have been a better signing than Ramsey, a more experienced left back too to come in and play back up to Hall.

It was more reflecting on the positions that the forum suggested we needed fixed. collectively, I think there was a shout for at least every part of the pitch.

If the season is looking iffy still, I’d rather we doubled down on it being a poor season and forced out players that are questionable if they will be here next season and signed some young players so they can be bedded in ready for next season.

Problem with this window is that due to the cluster of injuries at the back, we need cover, when we actually really need to bring in some creativity in forward/midfield areas. Full back is a priority, but I wouldn’t have been targeting other areas of defence massively without this.
