Something that a woman in her 20s would post after a break up.

Keeping him fit next season will be important. Hopefully we can find a high potential player that can play cup games and be subbed on in league games to manage Tinos time and fitness, with the aim to split even more of the pitch time between them once we're back in Europe the following season. With all his injuries this season I think we've forgotten a bit how incredibly good a fully fit Tino is.

He’s very very limited / average

Watch how many times he gives the ball away , plays a backwards ball , or under hits / over hits a cross

He can’t head either and constantly loses his man at the back post

He is very quick , very athletic and quite good at one v one defending against most wingers.

I thought he was amazing when we signed him and had a few very good games , the more I started to watch him in close detail the more I started to realise how poor he was.

Trippier light years ahead of him in terms of input (until his legs went)

I think City want Porro now over Livramento. It would be silly for them not to get Porro if he is available.

He's not limited or average ffs

I'd say he is quite limited going forward, like. Generally very good defensively but his attacking contribution has been extremely underwhelming compared to some of those glimpses he had in his first season.

Porro is a much better player.

I think you put too much into his performances this season, which I don't think is fair considering he probably hasn't been ever properly match fit this season bar the first 5-6 games. He's never been very good in the final third I'll grant you, but he is excellent at getting past his man and carrying the ball up to that point. We just need a good fit for him at RW to do the stuff he isn't good at. Neither Murphy or Elanga is the answer. Defensively i think he is among the very best in the league.

I think nearly all of his good games for us have been as a left back. Other than the Man City home game, struggling to remember a time when he’s been as effective on the right.

I probably rate him a bit higher but no getting away from how bad he is going forward, like. Not only terrible on the ball but seems to have no idea what type of runs to make or have any understanding with the RW. There was a few games last season where he was almost tackling Elanga it was absolutely ridiculous to watch

I think he's decent going forward on left just not the right

Elanga was probably attacking the wrong goal, so understandable.

Same Porro who is always getting off for Spurz. Or a different Porro ?

Porro is pap defensively, Nunes has become a better RB.

I’ll be pretty happy if Livramento signs a new deal and stays.

Some serious "that beautiful lass I fell in love with has binned me off, I've spent all night crying into my pillow but have woke up this morning and realised I never liked her anyway" vibes from some on here. Kids a great player. Hope he has a lovely summer and stays for next year. Keep his bromance with Lewis cooking.

Happy for Tino to stay but with World Cup caps and straight into another season, even with one game a week we need to rotate him better to manage his cottage cheese hammies and whatever else.

So, who is our backup RB? Are we pushing Miley out? Does Shahar step-up (would Howe even consider that)? Or are we signing cover for both LB/RB?

I agree in that I think he's a better LB than RB.

But then, the other point you made was about his connection with the RW, where previously I think Trippier and Murphy worked well together.

So maybe it's about what's in front of Tino in either position.

It's all about connections across the pitch and Murphy was a RW most thought should be upgraded despite delivering great crosses for Isak.

Tripper's intelligence and leadership and then Isak's finishing meant maybe Murphy was so much more productive than he might otherwise have been.

So far, I don't think Elanga has been an upgrade, but behind him he's been working with a declining Trippier and Tino who doesn't yet have the same command of the game or attacking ability. Or, crucially, the availability to form that understanding over a long period.

Dunno, I'm in two minds about Tino.
