so nice having a true wingback. The support in every phase of play makes a world of difference. This is why the Arsenal result hurt - not because the loss but the loss of Tino! Him and Hall, up, down - gives us soo much energy and space to create more and they defend better as well! Top stuff !

He is the best right back in the world for 2/3 of the pitch. He really does fall apart in the final third, though.

Not that I care. He is fucking mint.

I think he makes up for that with just how ruthless he is at closing down any threats defensively. And how effectively he storms forward with the ball, sometimes the length of the pitch.

I mean, I thought he was at fault for the goal. Switched off.

I thought Thiaw and him could have done better. But it is a 1 in a 100 touch from Kiernan National-Trust/English-Heritage and a goal worthy of winning a game. Not a meaningless consolation

In my biased mind I put the other third down to him being rapid with the ball and the rest of the team not playing off what he does 😅

Semi-contradicting what I just said above, no chance. A fit Reece James and Hakimi are the best RBs in the world by a considerable distance

Reece James isn't near the player he was before all the injuries in my opinion. Not saying he isn't still good, but he's nowhere near the level you're talking about.

Loves a red card to supplement his time off too.

Livramento picking the ball up in the 10 position playing in Hall as a striker sums up the difference they make. You wouldn’t see Trippier and Burn doing that!

This, they give us so many options in the overload and both are so tidy on the ball and have the recovery pace to ensure we won't suffer in defence, both huge game changers and the drop off is significant.
