Palace play the 3-4-2-1/3-4-3 that we try.  They look brilliant at it.  We however, do not

I'm sure quite a few teams would switch to that last season with varying degrees of success.  I think I posted about it in the tactics thread.  As it seemed in vogue for a while and it was being used more often.  Man U play it.......  Forest were switching to it and it worked well a lot of the time.  I think Chelsea, too.

Being able to make that formation work gives us much better depth with the current squad. A third CB can be a backup for various other positions. We certainly do have a long way to go from what we've seen so far.[emoji38]

It looked like a leg break. His leg was at a weird angle.

That leg was super injured. He was clapping off like he was in delirious pain.

Tino proper English lad. Just sat motionless with a thousand-mile stare and the odd shake of his head. Probably had a wee cry while he was being carried out poor lad. Bet he's ok. 4-6 weeks and he's back.

I was close. Big relief that. Delighted for him.

Ok relieved for his career. 2 ACLs in the same leg within 5 years of proper professional football - I would have concerns for his entire career and longevity in the game. And his ability to recover and return to the top echelon.

This doesn’t sound half as bad.

We do need another fullback however. I don’t think Tino’s knees can survive being flogged like he was set to be. I love Krafth but he’s not at the level. He’s like Lascelles, he needs to be 5th choice FB not 4th.
