Do yous think he was at fault for dewsbury halls goal?

It looked like he could've came across to cover thiaw. But other than that he was top notch.

I think the goal was just brilliant. Both Thiaw and Tino were tight enough to expect to bo be able to stop him taking the ball down, but his touch was very special. Sometimes you have to admire the attacking play and realise there is little you could have done.

He has a bad habit of mentally switching off when the ball is deep or on the other side of the pitch. Countless times he’s been caught out at the back stick when a ball has come all the way across the box. Not sure who was at fault yesterday though

This is where I am, beautiful goal.

Perfect pass and a sublime touch from Dewsbury-Hall.

Defenders could have done more, but I feel like it's more nitpicking than them making a mistake.

It was absolutely exceptional from Dewsbury-Hall. Sorta goal that, if scored in the 90s, we all get to hear Barry Davies ejaculate over. Wouldn't be giving a hard time to any of our defenders over it; was a brilliant ball and a world class take and finish.

For anyone who is interested (ha!), if Livramento signed a new contract next summer then we could give him a £75k/pw pay rise and it wouldn’t change our outgoings for PSR thanks to amortisation (not allowing for a signing-on fee, though.

We went through this with the rat. For me as much an issue is that with Tino ,Tonali, in fact anyone we have that does well.....The Release Clause !

We’re going to be at the mercy of this for the foreseeable - not everyone is going to be as unprofessional as Isak, but footballers know how to get themselves a move.  We can’t pay what the big boys can, we aren’t going to win what the big boys will, we don’t even offer the facilities that the big boys can.  We still have to be realistic about keeping hold of players on that basis - and not gan radge every time one leaves.  Isak leaving never worried me (I thought we might get another year), but he acted the cunt which was unexpected.  The good thing is that anyone who comes calling for one of our players will need to cough up good money for them as we are in a position to be awkward sellers, and we know that all profits from the sale go straight back into the club.  I don’t think we sell enough or at the right time - Joelinton and Gordon would’ve been gone last summer for me.

I think this season is the best Tino has looked at RB. His best performances in previous seasons have been at LB, where he's usually more effective in attack.

It used to be a tossup between Tino and Trippier at RB, based on their relative strengths. I don't think it is now. Tino is a better defender than Hall, but Hall is a sublime footballer.

His ability to shut down even the best attackers is phenomenal and it’s no wonder someone like City is interested. BrownBottle summed our situation up pretty well regarding our top players though.

We will be at the mercy of top players leaving if we don’t get CL and related to higher wages. I do think with Wilson in position there’s a chance with the right signings that the team and particularly first 11 goes up another notch after next summer which might be enough to keep them around for a bit longer yet.
