He's bang average. Another one we paid over the odds for and won't be able to shift. The money tied up in him, willock & Ramsey is wild.

We could easily move him on for circa £30m but he was an opportunistic buy from a relegated club and he’s a one trick pony.

That’s not like you at all. You’re usually so positive and upbeat. You feeling ok?!

He just looks a bit rusty, I think he'll start to find form just in time for Gordon to come back!

He always looks rusty, then he scores 5 games on the bounce, then is shit.

I know highlights can make a player look good or bad. But on the extended highlights, he was involved in a lot of our good attacking play. A poor shot and some looses touches, for sure. But having not watched the game. I would have thought he’d played well based on that.

Seems like he was fairly poor again, however.

was getting pelters in the match thread but he wasn't that bad, just inconsistent. He is fairly limited though, can see him being moved on sooner rather than  later

He should be able to strike up a potentially good partnership with Woltemade, who's link play should be ideal for the likes of Barnes to feed off. As long as we are getting good width from the overlapping full back he could still have a very good season.

He's possibly better with Hall for that. A lot of Tino's passes push him down the line.

Got mixed feelings about his performance. He did some very frustrating things and sometimes looks like he's a kid trying to play adult football because he doesn't come across as athletic or muscular.

But then again, he's also not a really a winger who wants to go outside and is playing LW with a right-footed fullback on the same side, who also wants to cut in primarily. And he was involved in some very dangerous moments.

Also think it was a red card for the guy who clattered him.

Another one?

Who are all the others? I'd say with confidence that most of the players we've bought in the last few years will have increased in value.

Theres probably 14 sides in the league who would love Harvey Barnes in their squad and given he probably has a book value of something like 20m, I dont think we are going to struggle with his "value".

Not that I think we need to sell him. Hes a good player. Patchy form at the moment.

Needs to work harder and be less passive. Neither aggressive at taking the game by the scruff of the neck, helping cover back nor beating his man.

He's a a bit of a one trick pony who spends most his time on the edge of the game. Tino was doing his and his own work yesterday - a little more energy and effort would make a big difference with him in my opinion.

He'll be including Ramsey wissa and Elanga in that mate. You know before they've even played a season for us. 😂
