Szosoblai was winning virtually every tussle. The other two forwards were at least pulling their defenders all over the place. Sorry like, but a solitary good cross is not enough. Lush Vlad
Quiet game. Unlucky not to get an assist and has been making clever runs to create space. Weird that he seems a bit slower than usual, though. Szob is an athlete and not a RB. But didn’t even try and run him once?!

Just cus he's not a right back, doesn't automatically mean Barnes will get the better of him 1v1. Especially as that's not his best asset really either rits cutting in and shooting. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets hooked for Ramsey at half time however now we are down to ten.
Zero
He is never good at dribbling and beating opponents. He isn’t playing bad, he is just what he is

Tbf his decision making is usually sound and obviously he has great shooting ability, though we can probably all agree he is very predictable and rarely really trouble the fullback, even a makeshift one that is tonight

I thought it was crazy playing a midfielder at FB but tbf Slot seems to have called it right. Barnes is turgid slow. He's a one trick pony, and if you can block the inside channel it limits him severely.

Newcastle Fan
Embarrassing in these last two games, can't do anything right and honestly dosn't seem like he's fit at all even though he had a full pre-season.
GEFAFWISP
This is Harvey Barnes, he'll have games where he either looks like he can't do the basics and nothing comes off or he'll decide to show up and score a belter after a shoulder drop, cut inside jobby, hopefully he finds form sharpish though. TRC
To be fair the lad is under a lot of pressure since we have zero strikers. Hes the best finisher at the club
Aiston
He has still been creating good chances, could easily have had 2 assists in 2 games if Gordon could head a ball.

Menace
We looked miles better when he came off. He's a very limited winger who is very good at what he does if that makes sense.

He scores too low in those 3 areas to ever be what we need. Happy to have him as a sub.
gbandit
He just can’t do it 1 v 1 in the slightest. That’s not his game. His game is having space to run into to attack where he can cut in and shoot. If he gets square with a defender he can only pass it backwards or lose it, or only rare occasions eke out a cross. If he can’t run and attack from deep and then cut in his game is very limited. Thankfully, his striking of the ball is so good that the limitation is massively mitigated. However, I much prefer wingers who can actually beat their man on the wing or if they get squared up, have the quality to beat them by coming inside
The College Dropout
I swear he used to be rapid for Leicester? His dribbling has always been poor like but so is Gordon but Gordon can get at a man for pace at the least. Elanga too.

But he’s very smart positionally and times his runs very well.
Gallowgate Toon
Was surprised he wasn't off at half time. That situation just isn't for him, he's not a massive grafter from the top, a physical presence, nor is he capable of consistent ball carrying. Did deliver a fantastic cross for the Gordon header but that was about it.
Kanj
I’d go Murphy LW over him tbh
Shadow Puppets
I thought he played ok. Out of curiosity, early in the second half he went through and was bundled to the ground. The crowd went nuts and from a distance it looked like a clear foul. Was it?

AyeDubbleYoo
He was alright I thought, Szob worked very hard back into the RB spot to help to nullify him.
oldtype
He'd benefit a lot from having a striker to take some of the heat off of him when he's arriving late into the box imo.
