17 goal contributions last season and still very young.

As I say, I trust Howe's judgement and accept I must be wrong, but goal contributions won't convince me. I absolutely despise how prevent its used as a stat.

£55m we must be desperate, thats crazy money for someone who wont even take us to next level

We aren't desperate yet, it's the going rate for proven Premier League talent and he will definitely add an extra dimension to us.

Apart from those 3 points you were absolutely bang on

someone sell this to me coz dropping near £60m on Elanga doesn’t excite me at all

If Sir Edward of Howe wants him at that price, that’s all the selling anyone needs to do to you

Be excited

Loads said Gordon, hall, barnes, wouldn’t take us to the next level but they did. I trust Howes choice, just how slow we are in getting deals done frustrates me.

It’s not stubborn though - he’s always said to anyone that it will take at least 60 before he even talks.

He has? Any quotes? And yeah if he refuses to sell below 60 then surely he’s stubborn about it? Not that I can blame him/them. I meant it more like I don’t see him budging.

Plenty of people in here are not convinced by it. Why bother having a discussion at all?

One thing we’ll not lack is pace up front, Gordon, Isak and Elanga will terrorise defenders away from home.

Personally think it’s just more of the same and would have preferred a different style of player to break down a tight defence at home.

In saying this the best attack I ever seen in the flesh was Giggs, Hughes and Kanchelskis, the pace and directness was frightening and if our 3 can emulate that I won’t be complaining.

If you're not convinced nothing is going to change that, so there's no point going back and forth.

Everything that can be said has been said already.

If he comes in, once the games start being played, then we'll all see how it plays out.
