Theregulars Posted Saturday at 21:41 Share Posted Saturday at 21:41 Abysmal crowd management from them with the away fans. Crammed thousands of us through 3 tiny gates, was a nonsense and caused loads to miss the start. Needless police presence slowed everything down too

That will come. He was a lot quicker than I had seen before but I guess spending alot of the time on the wing showed that more. I can see him getting a lot more time there. Credit to Birmingham for their part in it, even the disgusting stuff. Yep. Classic game. No real problem with anything they did, only with the referee for abdicating responsibility. Feel like there would have been yellows and reds everywhere if we'd returned the favours - they might have been a bit less brave if they knew retaliation was coming. Cronky Posted Sunday at 07:10 Share Posted Sunday at 07:10 This team is very mentally strong. It was a very difficult situation - away from home, freezing cold and driving rain, a newly put-together line-up and opposition who were out to intimidate. We kept our heads and played our football. Well done guys, I'm proud of you.

They look like the type of fans who’d be looking for trouble too, like orcs from Lord of the rings.

Well done guys, I'm proud of you. This was a really hard game, particularly for a side that haven’t played together. I think it’s very impressive how we came through it. To go an early goal down, control the game and then concede to a wonder goal before half time. Really resilient performance against a very confident team, with a hostile atmosphere and dismal conditions.
Scoot Posted Sunday at 11:39 Share Posted Sunday at 11:39 That 1st goal which did/didn't cross the line was the most bizarre goal celebration from the away end I've ever experienced. Literally no one had a clue what had happened. I seen the flag go up and thought he'd put it up for offside. It was the most muted celebration ever. Ikon Posted Sunday at 11:48 Share Posted Sunday at 11:48 Thought it was a genuinely nice touch from Eddie allowing them see Isak on the pitch for a couple of minutes.

I did think that. There might be young Brum kids in the crowd buzzing they got to see Isak. Don't think Alex looked too thrilled about being thrown on in the cold and rain for a few minutes

Andy Posted Sunday at 15:00 Share Posted Sunday at 15:00 I missed a chunk of this yesterday and until I saw the full highlights five minutes ago my own knowledge of their second goal was Newcastle's twitter page saying "Birmingham equalise." Can't help but feel it was at least worthy of something slightly more descriptive
