Aye, no one is paying close to that. If he does go, the max it’ll be will be £50m with add ons but I think it’ll be less

Then back in Europe within one season for a massively reduced fee. What a shambolic state the sport is in

Champions League is nothing more than a convenient tool for the media to manufacture moves away from clubs on footballing grounds, rather than admitting the status quo has an inherent in-built advantage to the Top 6.

They were desperate for us to miss out on Champions League so Isak would go elsewhere as a player of his quality "deserves Champions League".

This. Looking at the list of top 50 earners in the prem. All of them but Bruno G and Emile Martinez play for one the Sky 6 clubs. Players "wanting Champions League football" is just another way of saying "get me on the Sky 6's wage structure", has nowt to do with Champions League football as this summer has sadly proven

They are in negotiations

Makes my blood boil that a Man U team that finished 15th and are apparently "skint" can still outbid us even though we're a champions league team. The PSR glass ceiling is real.

This board endlessly downplays the pull that Man United has.

They definitely have pull, but it isn't anywhere near as strong as it was in the 00's.

To be fair, fx’s out as €80m. Von Pletty was kind enough to do his best Lunn Poly exchange role.

€80m.

It's not. It's close enough to edit the conversion and force a joke (like I did when we were after Ekitike ) but it's like 69,442.

Based on most of the responses acting like it's already over I don't think that's true

I think that's mostly based on their wage capabilities and our perceived incompetence thus far.

There a few to none metrics in which we are bigger than man Utd unfortunately [emoji38]

Only thing we could've maybe offered was a coherent plan and not a basket case, but we've seemingly ceded that ground also[emoji38]

Man U are still a huge club and their recent history (last 40 years or so) still make them a hugely attractive club to join. They've been absolute pigshit for quite a while now on the park but their name and status is still big enough to draw players in. They also make a huge amount of money too and that's massively important when choosing which contract to sign. It's just a vey unpalatable fact we need to accept

Annoying that Man U wouldn't even be in the mix if PIF weren't given them £50mil for Antony !!

This is the most annoying thing of all.

Yes, 6 cartel clubs have done their best to keep us down, but our owners have helped them do it.

Even that is too much. Not a penny over £40m.

if they could only offer wages and fees comparative with their recent performances, their past glories would count for nothing.

Players used to turn them down to go to Blackburn.

His latest video is titled:  "RACE WON   Sesko CHOOSES United?"

I haven't watched it but it will be a load of shit.  He turns any crappy little rumour into some massive story just for clicks and views
