He needs to be in there starting most games now. Whilst nobody covered themselves in glory again today, he's such an obvious upgrade on Joelinton when it comes to moving the ball forwards or keeping it tighter areas.

Think he started slowly and then improved, his ability to hold onto a football under pressure and work space is fairly invaluable in a team where our midfield largely lacks the ability to play out of tight spaces. He’s going to be excellent for us

He’s not what we needed but as we’ve spent £40m on him and Joelinton is playing terribly, I’d give him a run in the team. It always seemed odd that we decided we needed more Joe Willock in the summer.

He should be starting a run of games, like Elanga. Then we ca n make a proper judgement.

Thaiw and Wolte both had consistent runs, and both been our better players. But it means permanently benching two of Howes trusted players.

Scandalous that we spunked £155m on him, Elanga and Wissa like.

While I agree with what you said about Elanga and Ramsey, a player like Wissa could've made our attack so much better on his own. We desperately need him back.

not often anyone there in a decent position to pass to.

I’ve never seen him not take the easiest pass available.

I’ve not seen much good from the lad. Doesn’t drive forward much. Doesn’t pass forward much. Doesn’t eat the ground up all that well. Hasn’t had many minutes so perhaps this is harsh but he makes a prime Willock look like Patrick Vieira.

The one signing we made in the summer that I think was a mistake and am not hugely invested in. We would have been much better with some of what Sunderland ended up with, an experienced player to sit in front of the defence and a youngster with a bit of energy.
