 And with 190 minutes' worth of evidence, you've been proven right!

This place is full of people tripping over themselves to get in and tell everyone ‘I told you so’. All based on incomplete information and heavily influenced by their pre-existing opinion and view. It’s mind numbing.

Even if there is some weight to the argument. Who the fuck cares?! What do you want, a medal?

These boys are here now. So we may as well support them and hope they find some form or you know, get a meaningful run of games so we can actually form an opinion on them.

I am expecting more from him but still confident we’ll see it. As has been pointed out above he’s coming into a side generally playing pretty badly. I think people writing him off already are a bit too quick to do so. It is Howe’s job to integrate him fully into our play though, same goes for Elanga and Woltemade.

I expect us to start playing better at some point (we’re unlikely to get any worse tbh) and if Ramsey has a run of games and starts to feel confident in his contribution to the team I think we’ll see the differences he brings.

Searching for crumbs of positivity I thought I'd drag this guy's thread up from near the bottom of page two. Thought he was really bright when he came on, not for the first time, and if we ever find our groove I think he'll turn out to be a good player for us. Keen to see more from him.

Yeh, I want to see him have a run in the team. Problem is, high stakes means someone else is unlikely to be dropped. Unfortunately, it's probably dependant on an injury to another player.

But a run will come, I'm sure of it.

Agreed. I think he looks really good and will be a big contributor for us in future. Anyone criticising him or the transfer this early can STFU.

Bright is about as good as it's got with Ramsey tbh and his best performance so far is still his debut when he came on against Liverpool.

Still early days so I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do rather than hanging my hate on anything he's done so far.

He just screams of a player that can look good, but fundamentally doesn’t help address our issues (technical / passing). Both him and Elanga are £100m for shrug of the shoulders impact. Better off spending that on 5 randoms abroad and have 2 kick on and 3 be meh.

I think he’s absolute quality and that’s based mainly off his time at Villa. However he’s shown some quality flashes for us. He needs to be backed with a run in the team and I’m certain he’ll become a great player for us. However I’m not convinced Howe will drop Joelinton for him. I think Burn, Bruno and Joelinton are almost unstoppable for Howe if they’re not injured

I thought he showed signs of promise too, and agree he needs a run in the team.

I am concerned at how fragile he appears to be though, we have already lost him due to injury and even last night at the end he seems to be hobbling round and a nothing challenge.

Some wild takes on a guy whose played about 4 games for us in our poorest spell in 4 years [emoji38]

Why not use him in a few more games then? He's never going to be ready unless he gets time on the pitch.

I totally agree. The point was we cant judge him until he's had a run of starts, not 10-20 minutes here and there.

He needs his year in the shadows as per all new Eddie signings.

I remember a Bournemouth fan saying exactly this when we first got Howe

"Don't get excited by any new signings as they will unlikely play for the first year"

I don't think it's at all unfair to say Howe likes to get players up to speed before giving them starts. Bruno wasn't straight in, Elanga only was because Murphy was injured, Tonali wasn't starting immediately even after his ban. I bet you Woltemade would have had limited time if Wissa was available too.

I don't think its necessarily a bad thing, personally.

Aye, Tonali shouldn't be in the first group. It's hard to recall now what with his face etched in the surface of the moon, but there was a worry that he was a poor buy for a bit based on playing time and chemistry before he got moved back after the ban.

Yorkie you motherfucker you made me agree with Branko.
