The general consensus from Wolves supporters is that we’ve already offered far more than he’s actually worth. Somehow we have to get Isak back in the team and give his best for 1 more season and get Wissa in.

We can’t end up in a position where we undersell Isak and poney up over 100M on 2 strikers who’s true value between them is  around 65M tops. Isak is fucking us on so many different levels.

I think its clear Isak is staying and we are signing one striker.

And then it comes to 2nd September and Isak turns around and says, “I’m still not reintegrating,” and continues to refuse to play for the next 12 months.

Not sure he would ditch his weekly money.

Wolves fan on sky Sports this morning saying he’s quality, 14 goals last season could easily do that again this (for them) so is comfortably worth what we’ve offered based on current market.

Apparently we can only fine him 7 weeks and have to pay him for the remaining 45 weeks of the year.

What absurd rule is that?

So not only have you surveyed every Wolves fan, you've also completed the "How to determine the real value of footballers, 2025 edition" course all in record time. Fair play man.

That would be first time that ever happened, and what for? Bc he didnt get a new contract?

The same rules that players don’t pay their agents or Union fees and iirc don’t allow you to negotiate a contract with an existing player for less wages unless contract is fully expired.

I’m just saying. Every fan seems to think if he doesn’t get his move that he’s going to suddenly change his mind, apologise, and be put back into the team. He might be an even bigger cunt and decide to double down on not playing.

He'd be committing himself to an awful long time of not getting paid, assuming he'd be fined in full etc.

Not to mention further reputational damage to himself.

Beat Mitchell to death with Baby Hitler.

What’s his end goal in doing that though?

He’s doing it now because he’s trying to force a move through. Once next week comes that option is gone.

So his two remaining choices are probably.
a) play this season and get a move next summer

b) don’t play this season and get a move next summer

Even for someone acting as poorly and unprofessionally as him and his team are  at present, there’s no logic or benefit in going for the latter.

Got a confirmation on that?

Man City tried to challenge it when Tevez fucked off to the golf course for 6 months and the PFA just told them to suck it up. It does feel like it would be ripe for legal challenge by clubs to push back against the current situation where players seem to gaining more and more power
