Gabriel had him sussed for almost the entire game yet he bettered him once and scored, so that's incredibly encouraging. His footwork and neat passing continues to speak for itself.

 

However, the Wissa injury gets more annoying with every single result atm; we desperately need a more wiley and faster striker; our lack of one is really hurting us atm.

 

Potential with the guy looks enormous though and I don't think it'll be too long before he's really tearing it up.

He clearly has a lot of ability and I have been impressed with him so far. I do think he needs to use his size more and be competitive for 50/50s with their CBs which he has not gone for on occasion.

 

I also think it's clear to see he is no where near as fit as we want him.

 

We also aren't playing to his strengths. On so many occasions he indicates that he wants it played to feet, but it doesn't transpire.

He’s a player you could build the team around, I can’t understand people not being impressed. He needs players that are better at linking up with him for quick give and goes around the box. I’d be thinking about a new LW next summer and a new AM in January.

Same. He looks an excellent footballer. Chucked in the deep end as much as he could've been so far but he's looked very good.

Sadly think you're right. He seems to be delightfully honourable as things stand.

 

It's funny considering he says he's a big fan of Havertz.

Though just feel our wingers aren't the best suited to his game. Easy to say when we're having a dry spell on the wings though 

 

We need our version of Salah/Mane and he can be our Firmino.

There was some link up with Tonali shortly after the goal that I thought was great. Didn't see enough it because the midfield didn't really get a grip on the game at all, but the glimses are definitely there if some of the midfield performances can pick up.
