It’s a helluva a lot of depth and quality. It’s the reason they’ve finished above us for 2 seasons mostly due to having so much more quality in depth which really counts towards the end of the season. They won’t win the CL or the league. Bur they can cope comfortably with the amount of games for the squad to requalify. It’s the number of games - especially through winter that stopped Villa finishing top 5.

I agree. I remember in an interview he talked about how people wanted him gone in 2022. "Am I really that bad?" he thought. The next season he responded excellently by scoring 18 goals which got us into the CL. It's okay to want him out, and he won't repeat that 18 goal season, but point is that players sometimes pick up on posts like that one.
