Think I'll be watching the Bodo / Spurs game. Pretty unique place to play, two of their better players back - an early goal for them, some nerves, and it's on. Still unlikely, mind. A Spurs Man U final does look pretty nailed on to me. In that scenario, I'd be hoping for Spurs. I could see Man U rebuilding with a win and getting better with CL money, whereas I'm not sure what Spurs would spend and they'd likely persist with Ange for a bit longer. Wishing misfortune on other teams, both to keep yourself in the hunt and because it's a good laugh, is one of the best things about football.

Generational talent now that he's linked with palace 😂 Rinse the house elf of everything he's got.

I just cant see Willock playing at the level we need him to again, mainly through expected further injuries and lack of consistent game time. If he was going to be fit for a season and starting, I'd probably back him to be a good performer. I dont see either of those things happening though.

Isak motivation - deny us CL and they'll think they can sign him.

I read it as the 3 + 0.8 being included in the 14.5 + 2.7. If the 6.5 add-on is achieved it would put the total at 23.7 which is well beyond 20m. Why not write "well beyond 25m" if the total was 27.5...? Either way it's a great deal for us.

Great. Even more Arteta fume/tears when we beat them (again). -
If we sold him, we really would need more in midfield in the summer, to state the obvious. A real squad overhaul. I like him as a player but he doesn't seem able to stay fit and is too inconsistent to be someone we can rely on if we're going to try and compete around the CL places. He's good for where we were, but maybe less so for where we're trying to get to. Somewhere like Palace might well suit both parties. It's going to be an exciting summer, and obviously so much of it hinges on grabbing that CL spot. It was the trigger for buying Tonali last time and one or two more of that calibre instead would make such a massive difference.

Not sure Arsenal are really capable of being desperate for anything. Hopefully they'll be on the beach. -

Been chatting to Keith Dyson (former Toon forward won Fairs Cup) at work today. Really nice guy. Telling me a few stories, he was delighted we have won league cup this season. Really cool.

Arsenal will be desperate to beat us down there next week after we’ve done them three times this season as well as the Gordon goal two seasons ago up here so need to do the job on Sunday! I’d take a draw mind!

Man Utd in for Longstaff ?

London boy going home? (From Walthamstow).
-
I'd definitely sell him this summer if we got some proper interest.
- Today

Athletic really don't have depth though. Their talent pool is small, once the starting XI is out they're often playing lads who are barely La Liga standard.
-
He'd do well for Palace. Involved in a deal for Guehi? Probably not but if Parish wants something from us he's far less likely to be a cunt about Guehi.
-
Sure three of our starting back five are out too. Balances out? We've this bad habit of conceding four goals lately. An early goal and I'll settle.
-
It's that or Fiorentina Betis for me, none of the other games are still alive imo.
-
That signing actually makes sense for both parties - he would do well there too.

The difference is Tonali has been outstanding for the majority of the season. People are criticising Willock because he's been poor for a long time, and didn't do much to change that. It's obviously easier to give Tonali the benefit of the doubt when he has a stinker than it is to give Willock the benefit of the doubt when he has yet another game where he's largely invisible/ineffective. It's not a one off.
