  1. Past hour
  2. Been saying this for a week, I'm more bothered about the season closer vs the scouse mackems than I am of this game, they're our kryptonite
  3. speaking of which, is there a method for getting the noon patch off a shirt? Brought the away recently and the noon yellow ruins it for me so wondered if I could get it off somehow?
  4. CPL

    Sandro Tonali

Still can't believe a player of his calibre plays for us ffs. 😂 Normally you see a player like Tonali and think he would improve our team no end. For the first time supporting Newcastle, I can honestly say I would take our midfield over any others in the league.
  5. Got more chance of beating these than Everton. 3 pts.
  6. Rewatching the semi highlights again. Feel like I'd almost forgotten about it as so focused on the final, but they were both special games too, the second one of the best nights at SJP for me in a long time. Looking back knowing what it led to adds to the magnitude. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PmCxudhbPk&t=19s
  7. Was just thinking that if we win our next two and Liverpool lost their next two, we’d only finish 12 points off the title. Getting closer.
  8. It’s an aesthetic thing. He’s in that very rare company of players who are just beautiful to watch.
  9. Going down to this. I've been to three away/neutral games this season, all London and we've won all three. (Tottenham, West Ham, cup final). Also I've been to the Emirates twice and we've not lost (1-1 2006/07, 0-0 2022/23). We're doing it.

    Dan Burn

Dunno, those first games he played when he signed he was outstanding and in a much worse team than this one. It gets overlooked just how good he was and how immediately transformative it was for our defence.

    Sandro Tonali

Pretty much my thoughts on the matter. Hatem will always be my GOAT, but this lad isn’t far behind.
  12. Def was poor but was disappointed by the fan reaction to him, not helpful at all.
  13. I’ve not been this invested in a player since Hatem.
  14. this is not a free hit. we nearly lost to leicester at home last time we qualified for the UCL.
  15. Plenty of moans and groans aimed at him yesterday. He'll be back on the list shortly.
  16. I'm always of the opinion 50% of chance creation is the strikers own positioning, movement & anticipation. Man Utd have one of the most creative players in the league. Hojlund doesn't receive any chances because his own movement and anticipation isn't good enough.
  17. GK: Sels RB: Munoz CB: VVD CB: Gvardiol LB: Kerkez RW: Salah CM: Palmer CM: Rice CM: Bruno LW: Schade ST: Isak Disclaimer: I haven't watched every minute of every game.
  18. If they’ve got any sense they’ll get Glasner in before emorim can do too much damage.
  19. Was just thinking I can only think of one ref I don’t think is a fucking idiot and he’s not allowed to do our games.
  20. Whilst I think Hojlund is a dud, it's not because he misses boatloads of chances, they just don't seem to create him anything. If they can get hold of a more traditional winger in the mould of a Jacob Murphy, I think Delap would do 15+ league goals nae bother even in Man U's current state. He's managed a dozen in that doomed Ipswich side.

Coventry score first and it's exactly even again. (although a slight obstacle to that was their Friday performance..... )
  22. You’ll need far more than just a striker in the summer
  23. That’s the spirit. Sandro needs to learn some of that.
  24. Fucking pathetic from Bristol City, that. Is that all the Champo has to offer? Relegated PL sides will be cleaning up the automatic promotion spots for years at this rate.
