I would much rather see maxi on from the start. He is a huge threat to any team and it would change their outlook on the game if they have to cope with both Miggy and Maxi on either side of Calum. The only downside to playing maxi is that we haven´t got big Joe in the middle cleaning up behind him...

He seems to play right wing or inside right most of the time. His passing is sublime and he dribbles and shields the ball like ben arfa but is able to use his body strength better. doesnt seem to shoot a lot, release s the ball for his team-mates

After Howe watching Simeone’s Atletico in Madrid for a while, he will have learnt the best shithousery tactics in the world. I agree with the above; these “slow down” tactics are a way you can slow the oppositions momentum and also receive instructions from the sideline from the coaching team. They can see exactly what needs to be tweaked to stem the opposition flow or to better our attack. watch Howe and Tindal telling players to stay down and then calling over players to give out instructions…
