  1. 4 clean sheets on the belt now, really feels like some momentum is building. Utilised the squad well and negotiated about as tough a cup tie as you can get, brilliant stuff.

    Paul Dummett

He just loves defending doesn't he. That last ditch tackle was fucking immense. Well done Paully D.

    Tino Livramento

He looks like one hell of a player. What a game he had there.
  4. Really hope Heed can keep hold of their squad and Willo this season, would love to see them make the football league. Wishing I'd thrown a little bit more than I did at the 4/1 odds of a Top 7 finish offered pre-season for the Heed!
  5. I'd love to see a token 90+5 Paully D sub in a Champions League away game for a laugh but that's about as near as I'd ever want him to getting a game this season.
  6. Watched him referee Millwall v Leeds the other week and he seemed so averse to cards that he wouldn't send one to his own Nan at Christmas time. A couple of players must have done 4-5 fouls and had 2 or even 3 "last warnings".
  7. Gameweek 7 Villa 2-1 Brighton Bournemouth 1-3 Arsenal Everton 1-1 Luton Man United 1-0 Palace Newcastle 3-1 Burnley West Ham 2-0 Sheff United Wolves 0-2 Man City Spurs 2-2 Liverpool Forest 2-1 Brentford Fulham 1-1 Chelsea Luton 1-0 Burnley
  8. Hope Foden doesn't play, sick of him saving his best performances for us.
  9. love Bez me, met him a few times and a lovely bloke. Forgot he's a Sheffield United fan so he'll have had some mixed emotions (and mixed drinks clearly) after that game!
  10. He was meant to be marking Bowen when he scored too, not sure how they worked that one out.

    Fabian Schär

Was sat on the bench whilst we played a back three of Krafth, Lascelles and Clark. Never forget. He's like Coloccini without the mistakes.
  12. Fucking hell, Real Madrid need to spend all of next week training how to defend crosses like. 3 headers now

I see RTG has deleted all the threads regarding our match today again it's like North Korea over there. Mags win and it's information blackout, never happened.
  14. Of course, I took out Watkins for Wissa because he hadn't scored for Villa all season. Mind that also allowed me to swap Eze for Saka which makes the whole thing worthwhile as a oner.
  15. Definitely belongs at this level like. His ball retention and awareness seems to have much improved since the early stages of last season. If he could add a few goals ala pre-season that'd be nice but for now I'm enjoying the fact he's growing into a really dependable player. Dependable will hopefully then turn into a difference-making in time which he has bags of on his side.

    Dan Burn

Love how he was getting fouled to fuck, shirt pulled aal owa and still blasted past his man and bulleted the header in.
  17. Sheff U in disarray and a certain Mr N. Warnock just walked out of a fine job well done up the road at Huddersfield. Hero's return at Bramall Lane for Uncle Neil?

    Sean Longstaff

Top class today and great to see him get a goal.

    Anthony Gordon

Proper wide man's performance today, a threat going to the byline and cutting inside and end product from both. Had the lad marking him on toast all afternoon.

    Sven Botman

Great header. Shades of Isak v Wolves (the one in the documentary opening titles). Monster at the back and incredible distribution. He's a top, top player.
  21. We're class. They are absolutely dump. The space being left even at 3 and 4 was ridiculous, can't believe they didn't try to shut up shop a bit more than they did.
  22. Absolutely fantastic today from start to finish. Three clean sheets on the belt and a goal glut at the end of it, great week overall.
  23. Palace 1-0 Fulham Luton 0-2 Wolves Man City 3-1 Forest Brentford 3-0 Everton Burnley 1-1 Man United Arsenal 2-2 Spurs Brighton 2-1 Bournemouth Chelsea 2-1 Villa Liverpool 3-1 West Ham Sheff United 0-2 Newcastle
  24. Darren Moore in the end. I think he's a perfectly decent Championship manager but is he really that much of an upgrade on Uncle Neil?
