ElDiablo
Barton said if he could give Taylor something for Xmas it would be a brain as well. Bit rich.
Guest Heneage
Expected more like. As for Duff if he has actually said that, it shows how much of a mercenary he is, dropping your team mate in it like that is bullshit. He's not the first to have said that about Taylor. Viduka said it recently on NUFC TV and I'm sure I've seen him mentioned as the thickest on Soccer AM as well - maybe even Shearer when he was on? Can't remember for certain. No I meant about the dive. That's all friendly banter, who's the stupidest member of the squad, he's gotta say someone.
LooneyToonArmy
Taylor - Drop won't happen Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor is certain the club will avoid relegation this season. The Magpies are currently 15th in the Premier League table, a point above the drop zone and without a win in six outings. Taylor, though, is confident Joe Kinnear's squad has the quality to preserve their top-flight status. Aim He said in the Daily Express: "We are not even thinking of the word 'relegation' and it won't happen. "We have to accept we are in a battle to avoid it, but this is a battle we will win. "We have some world-class players and although it will be a battle, we have the fighting qualities to stay up. "Then, we have to regroup next year. That's the aim; to get this season out of the way and ensure we are playing in the top flight next season."

Skysports.com caught up with Damien Duff to get the inside track on the Newcastle United dressing room. Who is the least intelligent? Steven Taylor, without a doubt. hakka
kept overlapping today but didn't get in good positions. whoever he tried to 1-2 it with someone they would end up turning around and looking elsewhere, meaning if we lost possesion we were exposed down the flank. Robster
lol who did peter's spelling on his shirt Its possible that they all had a good laugh about it in the dressing room and helped get a bit of spirit up prior to kick off. Unless Joe got it wrong again of course
Guest palnese
The amount of stick Steven Taylor is getting by some on this forum is utterly patethic. Our best player today, an a very good cover for Beye. Don't se any other getting as much abuse when making the smallest of errors. He is working his socks of for the team, bombing down the right when possible, and never backs out of a tackle. It's emberassing to read some of your posts tbh,,
DJ_NUFC
While not our best player, he was splendid today.
Cajun
MUCH better right back than he is a centre back.
Dave
MUCH better right back than he is a centre back. Because he can (mostly) get away with the errors. Played well today but let's not go overboard.
biggs
Good game today but didnt have imho a player running at him with any effect .
Ronaldo
did well today but didn't have a lot to deal with defensively. As others have said he's a lot better at RB where his errors don't cost the team
Pilko
Played well enough today I thought, need to consider him primarily a RB now.
Yorkie
Every time one of our most frequent liabilities has a good game it's all "you lot should be fucking ashamed of yourself for laying into him". Makes me laugh, what bollocks. On the whole, Taylor's been pretty shite this season. But i thought he had a good game today, no more, no less.
