ponsaelius
Great goal and was lively first 20 minutes, not much there after. Daft free kick for their first goal too.
madras
Poor he was, chased about, wasn't involved in play much. great goal, poor performance overall.
Tiresias
Tired considerably late on should have been subbed off early in second half imo, while he was lively though have no complaints.
Beren
Fantastic goal, struggled as the match wore on in what seemed to be an undefined role. Think we'd do well to keep him in the side actually because of the threat he poses, and the general standard of shoddy defending in the the tournament. His power and threat up front is a real boon to the side, even if his overall play won't always be top notch.

BoSelecta
Hes definately the best header of a football in the world .. thats all hes really got at the moment though. Thats quite a bold statement. I don't think he's the best by some way. 1 good goal doesnt change the fact he was turboshit all season.

Robster
Nice to see a Geordie scoring at a major championship. Even if he is a Liverpool player now.

Yorkie
Honestly wouldn't know who to drop out of Carroll and Welbeck. I don't think they're particularly dissimilar players either, neither are brilliant, neither are lightning quick, but both hold it up well. Whilst i think Welbeck is possibly the better finisher with the ball at his feet, i think Carroll is overall the better goal threat. But then Carroll's probably a better impact sub. It's a tough one but i'd probably go Carroll-Rooney. The latter needs to play, regardless of the win last night.
