STM
He's a good guy to have in your squad.
Darth Crooks
He's making a good go of it. You have to give him that. However it's last ditch stuff that could perhaps be avoided with a more composed player. Fair play after yesterday.
Flip
Our fullbacks are poor. Right now even though we've conceded few, rightback or leftback depending on what Santon will play is a priority in January. More so than a striker at the moment. Guest axel
Was top class today.
Cajun
Yeah did alright today, happy with him as a utility man. IIRC when he left Wigan for us he was doing a good job at left back.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Turned into a decent defender
Ginola
I'm not the guys biggest fan, far from it infact, but I thought he had a really good game today.
Tooj
Seems to be more confident lately, which will be due to the run of games he's had. As when he's filled in previously, he's always looked nervous and edgy.
Cort
He's got to start at Right back ahead of Simpson. Was class today.
Guest
Very good today. Think he's earned his place ahead of Simpson at least.
Jayson
Played very well. Simpsons place should be more at threat yeah.
jdckelly
very impressed with him, seems to be growing into the left back role very quickly and maybe because he has to think a little because its not the right side for him thats improved him as a defender
Guest ShearerWHC
Decent game, good work on Bale in the 1st half, never challenged in the 2nd, a little sloppy on the Defoe goal
David28
His confidence is sky hight. Some runs on the left side were impressive. Should probably be right back at the moment with Davide left. Free kick could have gone in, was a good try.
Ash
Great display from him today, did extremely well and has earned his place in the side for next week. Don't mind if he plays at LB or RB but he's moved ahead of Simpson in the pecking order who should be benched next week.
Zero
  Couldn't imagine that but that's his best performance at left back. Can see why Pardew keep Santon out of the starting lineup before. Fair play to Raylor, he deserves a run. Brilliant.

Pilko
I told you all that he was better than Simpson months ago and you all laughed. He could have done better on the Defoe goal, but other than that I was very impressed with Ryan Taylor today - his passing was good and his set pieces were quite a bit better than Cabaye's. Simpson on the other hand posted another patchy performance littered with poor positioning. I really hope Santon comes into the side to replace Simpson and not Taylor, certainly at this stage. Dinho lad
Was alright today, but I thought his body position for Defoe's goal was all wrong. At the moment.... it should be Simpson to make way for Santon, not Raylor.

Guest firetotheworks
I still don't feel comfortable when he's on the ball, but he's playing the best I've ever seen him play for us. He didn't get tested that much, but he dealt with it pretty well. I'd definitely drop Simpson and put Santon in, rather than drop him.
Newcastle Fan
He's doing really well for himself, and that was a pretty good freekick that Friedel saved, should start against Wigan and have him scoring for us against them for a change!
Cajun
Have to say, if Santon comes in for Simpson it won't be long until a few are calling for Simpson to get back in the side over Raylor.
