Dokko
Zaha will cost less than remy, in fee and wages surely.
Tiresias
I'm a bit worried Remy isn't the fix all people claim he is, out of form, injury prone and not proven in the league. It's a gamble, I'm not against us buying him but it's not a definite winner
Guest ItalianMagpie
I'm fine with it, either him or Cissè had to go. As long as a replacement is singned by the end of the window, of course.
JH
Who's going to replace him v Everton? Anita? Won't happen that fast Bet it will. Aye, will probably be Williamson in for Ba: Krul Simpson Willi Colo Santon Bigi Tiote Perch Marv Cisse Obertan
Smal
You'd really hope we've got a replacement ready to come in as soon as he goes.
johnnypd
Remy in would be good but it would also leave us with only one recognised striker down the middle, and one in terrible form at that. We need to replace Ba's presence in the side AND get another forward. We needed a Remy type forward even with Ba and Cisse at the club so one in and one out wouldn't be good enough for us imo. In fact it would be gambling with our premiership status once again.

Hanshithispantz
Even if he isn't gone by the Everton game (he'll be gone by Tuesday imo) I wouldn't play him anyway, it would be pointless.
Revolution
I'm confident in Cisse stepping up to the mark when played in his best position and in what is looking a more fluid and creative team but we do need a replacement for Ba in the wide forward mould. I'm not too hopeful of that happening, however.

Wallace
Financially it will probably be a good move for him but not sure how much game time he will actually get. Surely, he is only going to be a squad player as when fit, Torres will almost certainly start. In the Summer, they will be working on getting Falcao in. sugoinufc
surprised its chelsea...but not surprised he is leaving. funny feeling that im not so sad to see him leave. He is such a good player....great goalscorer. happy to have cisse on top again. if this means we will buy a LW/Striker like remy and stick to our current formation im happy. I shouldn´t jinx it but if ba leaves then we will buy a good striker....No doubt
toon25
Absolutely fucking gutted. At least it's not QPR (much as I detest Chelsea we simply can't compete with them on a financial/competitive level atm).

The Narcissist
We have absolutely no chance of getting Zaha, would cost far too much and if he moves it'll be in the summer to someone like Arsenal, don't think he would even entertain a move here

Aye he played there last season where he scored 20+ in all comps, i'd expect us to play him and Hatem outwide flanking Cisse when all are fit though. If we bought him that is
Tiresias
I'll be a bit glad to see all the annoying press talk about him go, and he's done a great job for us, but he could have stayed the season at least. Bleh.
Tooj
Is Zaha actually good enough to come in and start each week?
TRon
This is shit. There's no other way to spin it. No doubt, but with that clause this was always on the cards. Chelsea can afford to take an expensive gamble on that knee. We obviously couldn't. Not many other clubs were prepared to either to be fair.
