Guest VaVaVoom
Obertan and Jonas on the wings will be a weapon. Pacey and direct. Cabaye and Tiote will be crucial also. Grit and Guile. Ben Arfa in front of them. Magic in the hole. Ba upfront. Pace and power. We really do have a fuckin good side like.
BottledDog
Way to much confidence going into a game at Old Trafford. We'll get bummed. Royally.
henke
I've never felt anything close to confident going to old trafford, but this year is possibly the best i've ever felt. Not saying much, granted. I still think we'll lose though.
TaylorJ_01
Need to show no fear and just get at them. They aren't the force they were in previous seasons atm.
Willow
If we can manage a draw it'd be amazing. I'd even take a defeat here as long as we could beat chelsea, hate those bastards the most..
Dr Venkman
we'll get a draw i reckon, thought for weeks we had an outside chance of getting one with Tiote back, now that Ben Arfa looks sharper, Cabaye and Obertan are back I think we'll do it. Guest gggg
Ferguson walks out of press conference after a fair question about their form, obviously feeling the pressure of playing us. He's an embarrassment.

Beren
I hope the players don't have the same psychological block about going to OT as us world-weary fans!
Sifu
I hope the players don't have the same psychological block about going to OT as us world-weary fans! The players will be up for this game, more than psyched up for it imo. If we perform like we did against City, can see us getting something from the game. alexf
Sucks that Young is back fit just in time for us and blatantly Rooney will be back, as will a rested Vidic. Saying all that, if they play anywhere near as poorly as they have recently and we play anywhere near our best then i think we have a great chance! Plus a few of their players must surely be fatigued from midweek which wont show immediately but if we start at 100mph then we could wear them down. Dave
http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Manchester-United-Wayne-Rooney-is-rated-very-doubtful-to-face-Newcastle-because-of-hip-injury-article834205.html Wayne Rooney is losing his battle to be fit for Manchester United’s Premier League clash with Newcastle on Saturday. Rooney missed the 2-2 Champions League draw with Benfica on Tuesday with a hip injury suffered in last weekend's 1-0 win at Swansea. The Mirror has learned the England striker is “very doubtful” to lead United’s attack against Newcastle at Old Trafford, when Sir Alex Ferguson’s side will look to reduce Manchester City’s lead at the top of the table to two points. Rooney is undergoing intensive treatment and is desperate to play, but club medics are reluctant to let the 26-year-old feature unless he makes a full recovery. At the moment, that is looking unlikely, with one United source describing Rooney’s chances of playing as “less than 50-50”, given the extent of his injury. With United needing a point away to Basel in a fortnight’s time to make the knockout stage of the Champions League, there is no desire to risk rushing Rooney back too soon and potentially losing him for that game should he aggravate the problem. Rooney sustained the injury in a clash with Swansea goalkeeper Michel Vorm, suffering bruising to the bone as he fell awkwardly to the ground. Righto. ElDiablo
Tbh, Berbs or Hernandez are still quite good. I'd back Sayicinni to nullify Welbeck.
ExiledGeordie
Rooney out  I'm watching this with my Man U mate in a dodgy Irish pub in north london which shows all Man U games so no doubt I'll be in the minority, lol We genuinely have a chance to get something but as ever going to Old Trafford is a massive ask. With Cabaye and Tiote in midfield I'll feel a whole lot better about things though. As ever and evident last weekend it'll be whether we take our chances and don't give them any goals.
