HATEM BEN Arfa sent out a chilling warning to the rest of the Premier League today – by insisting that Papiss Cisse will only “get better and better.”

The French playmaker had Swansea City on the ropes at the Liberty Stadium.

But Ben Arfa feels that Newcastle are a match for anybody in the top flight with Cisse and Demba Ba in their starting XI.

The Magpies’ attack is now beginning to look like one of the most potent offensive forces in Europe as star signing Cisse romped to his NINTH goal in the last eight matches.

Ben Arfa told the Chronicle: “He’ll get better and better.

“He was absolutely delighted in the dressing room afterwards as we all were after another great victory.

“Papiss played very well again, for the whole game.

“And he scored two again!

“It’s just so good for us and I am happy this run is still going for the team.” Ba cut a disappointed figure as he left the field after failing to notch for the eighth game in a row.

But Ben Arfa offered him an instant pick-up.

He said: “When we have two great strikers like him and Demba we know we have the chance to score at any moment.

“It’s good for us because it gives us more confidence.

“Papiss’ English is getting better and I am helping him too.

“I speak with him in French too.

“We are all here to help him with that.

“They will both get many goals for us.”

Ben Arfa also reached out to thank the Toon Army after their 700-mile round trip to Swansea.

He said: “If they weren’t behind us, it wouldn’t be the same.

“We wouldn’t do this well.

“I am pleased for them.

“They give us great confidence and I think we are winning all together now.

“Fans, players, staff, people on the bench, and everybody at the club.

“Not just on match days every day in training we do well together. Everybody at the club puts in the effort and helps. It’s why we are doing so well as a club.”

He's really found his role in the side now, and he's doing his share of the work when we don't have the ball. He's playing with a lot more discipline and Pardew's patience has been rewarded.

His passing inside from that wide right position is also very effective now. He's finding men in a lot of space.

Even if he only gets past his man 2 or 3 times a game, that's more than enough. Once he's able to run at a defence, the opposition is fucked and they have to hope we make a mistake.

Played well enough yesterday, performed admirably in his role, I love his shimmy to fool defenders, so agile and it's not like he's a midget. Did seem slightly off the boil at times in the first half with his touch and passing and probably would've preferred him being taken off to give him some rest for Monday but still, a good performance.
