mickthemagpie
Got the ball to him in the right areas yesterday where he should be. He's hitting top form, keep him fit and he will be sold for a fortune. Fixed.
Guest DebuchyAndTheBeast
When he's on top form you got to double mark him. WHam did just that a few weeks back at SJP but Villa didn't yesterday and were punished. Also you got to defend deep because he just loves the space between the fullback and goalline, when he's not cutting inside.

For our second goal they tried doubling up on him but he still got his shot away. He's just unplayable at times.

Ronaldo
I have a feeling some poor full back's gonna show him far too much outside soon and he'll rattle one in the corner with his right.
Guest Howaythetoon
Arguably the most gifted individual in the division?
alexf
I have a feeling some poor full back's gonna show him far too much outside soon and he'll rattle one in the corner with his right. That Villa goal last season Hansen last night just saying "just show him on his right" some of these guys just have no idea how good he is do they. Far easier said than done. EDIT* on and it didn't make any of the highlights but there was a cross with his right foot yesterday in the 2nd half right infront of us away fans that was absolutely brilliant. Between defenders and goalkeeper, was perfect but Cisse wasn't close enough to attack it unfortunately.
ExiledGeordie
He's enough to make me go to a few matches this season simply because there's no way I can see him being here next season.
Wilson
"go go go take him on take him on" looks like an excited kid in his motd interview, love the bloke.
Mole_Toonfan
Love his interviews.... it really does remind you of a kid going home to his parents and trying to explain to them why its so great with a massive smile on his face. Absolutely love him.
Beren
I have a feeling some poor full back's gonna show him far too much outside soon and he'll rattle one in the corner with his right. That Alan Hansen comment on MoTD was impertinent tbh - "just show him outside". His left is obviously his stronger foot, but his turn of pace/explosion is so good that he can still hurt you from the byline tbh - and probably have time to come back on to his left once he's got round you. Ronaldo
Shearer's probably told him he's all left foot.

TaylorJ_01
He ain't bad on his right, see Aston Villa last season. 90% of our players couldn't do that on their strong foot.

Not entirely the case here though, Ben Arfa still takes players down the outside enough to put the element of doubt in their mind. He beat Luna to the byline a few times yesterday and put crosses in with his right.

At least when he's playing that far up the pitch.
Ketsbaia
He put in a couple of good crosses with his right, not to mention his Villa goal last season. The more defences that think like Hansen, the better.
alexf
Yeah if they had actually bothered to show proper highlights they would have seen he went down the line on his right foot atleast a couple of times to put the doubt in the defenders mind. Doubt the MOTD pundits even watch more than the crappy edit that bbc put together.

Darth Crooks
I'm sure he would have been capable of handing Hansen in his prime his own ringpiece. He's such a prat.
