Ryan_Taylor
I'd say there's a very strong chance it'll be Cabella who makes way, given Pards' concerns regarding his lack of physicality. Nah. No way.

Guest
I like Gouffran but think Pardew viewing him as a wing-back due to his work rate hinders him. Use him as a back up centre-forward and I think he'd be useful.

Nah. No way. Never discount Pardew's ability to still surprise you with his level of stupidity. He's still doing the Williamson to the back post thing, it's been 4 years. KaKa
I used to love Gouff when he first joined, and he was on the wing then. He's too good a guy man, as he listens to everything Pardew says, and it has ultimately ruined him. Tracks back so far, and so often that he is genuinely unable to impact the game in forward areas anymore, as he is just worn out mentally and physically. Gallowgate Toon
His presence is starting to fuck me off. Possibly one of the lazier members of the team now, too.

Tiotes Witch Doctor
First things first, he is being played out of position every single game and we are never ever going to see the best of him out wide, or indeed under Pardew. If Pardew insists on him being out wide then he should not be anywhere near the starting 11, he offers nothing and has offered nothing since December. The fact that Aarons wasn't even on the bench today proves how terrible Pardew is. No matter who we buy we will always be held back under Pardew, to some extent. TRon
Well I suppose you could argue we didn't concede any goals so job done as far as Pardew is concerned.

Why is HBA getting excused for Pardew playing him "out of position" and not him? He's a forward. Play him upfront and he'll cause more problems for defenders with his running and will get you the odd goal here and there.

afar
I'm starting to hate this guy and it's not his fault, it's his buffoon of a manager who plays him in a role that is killing our creativity.
Dave
He's in the side to hold his position, take up space, run about a bit and help his full back. From this perspective he's an 8/10 every week, so it's no wonder he's a permanent fixture. No point giving him grief, he's just Jonas in a younger body thanks to Pardew. Yorkie
I remember when this guy was a very decent member of the side. He's a very decent player, too. Brings less than nowt to the team in his present role, though.
Varadi
Gouffran is the new Jonas - play him anywhere there's a gap as he works hard. Sad thing he's actually a decent footballer but we're not playing anywhere near his strengths so the fans will start to turn on him through no fault of his own. Ste
I still like the guy but think he's never been that good at assisting, so once the goals dried up it's natural to start questioning his place. I want to see two genuine wingers on the pitch at the same time.
