For all the Howe out rumblings going on, I hope we never become Chelsea

I'm in favour of keeping Howe because I think he's the right man for the job but I'm surprised there's as many Howe outs as there are when you look at the other "big" clubs and their managers:

Arsenal / City - Stuck with their managers and enjoying success (though Arsenal do need to win the league you feel)

Liverpool - Slot is shit

Chelsea - lol

Man Utd - lol

Spurs - lololol

I'd want to be really sure we needed to make a change before we risk becoming part of that.

Chelsea have always been quick to fire managers but since the first takeover their fans saw them win pretty much every tournament available to win.

But yeah lets stick to a manager who is taking us closer to relegation than progress because we don't want to be them.

None of that makes sense. Explain the logic you are using?

So he's sacked just 4 months into a 72 month deal? That club is a fucking joke.

From the first minute he was appointed he was looking like nothing other than a stopgap appointment. No idea why they have him 6 years but when you're Chelsea you can get away with anything and expect zero punishment or consequence

Rosenior is clearly a narcissist and not a very good manager, at least yet. Hope there is no new manager bounce. The mackems would be insane to get rid of their manager so they probably will. He surely has surpassed all expectations for this season.

Chelsea are a massive anomaly when it comes to sacking managers.

They are about the only club who have done it regularly and managed to keep (relative) sustained success. Maybe you could argue Madrid too.

Which indicates that being able to spend seemingly endless amounts on players, is actually the key factor.

Chelsea refuse to accept mediocrity. For most of the history of NUFC they've embraced it.

Chelsea were fine to accept mediocrity before they got bankrolled by Russian billions.
