Nah, Henderson's really good like. Putting both him and Dier together in the same midfield is football contraception though. Henderson with Oxlade-Chamberlain for me, with Dier as Henderson/CB back up, and Wilshire and Shelvey as back up attacking midfielder alternatives to Oxlade-Chamberlain. Shays Given Tim Flowers Posted April 11, 2018 Share Posted April 11, 2018 Shelvey is good at playing balls from deep, he tends to play as a deep lying midfielder for us. I'm not sure that automatically should translate into high assist numbers and obviously doesn't lend itself to being a prolific scorer of goals. Would be a useful plan b for England to have. What a bizarre statement He is not a goal scorer and that is not what you look for him to bring to a side. It's like saying Carrick wasn't a goalscorer. What is wrong with you?
