Peppe
If McClaren was that bothered he would resign. No sympathy. Bothered about what? Doubt he cares that much about the club, and why would he resign when he's about to get sacked and get compensation?
Leazes_End_Mag
So looking like Cathro and Beardsley for Monday nights game, potentially meaning the Derby will be Benitez's first game. Should be some atmosphere. Jesus wept. McClaren hasn't even left yet man. I'm just summing up what's being reported, as in this is where we seem to stand at the minute. Im yet to see one report where it states they'll be in charge. It'll be McClaren or Rafa.

Alberts Mustache
Aye, 7th place with Everton is much more impressive than trophies in Spain, Italy, England, Europa League and Champions League.
Teasy
Wow <a href="https://twitter.com/aibarnes/status/707978779768066049"> Its just absolutely mind blowing stupidity, two managers that have done pretty much fuck all vs a man who's won things almost everywhere he's been, including the very top honours. SSN were claiming McClaren was going to be sacked and replaced by Rafa today a little earlier on. Its hard to believe anyone reporting on this from the media world at the minute. mozy
If McClaren was that bothered he would resign. No sympathy. Bothered about what? Doubt he cares that much about the club, and why would he resign when he's about to get sacked and get compensation? Bothered about the fact we are basically offering his job out to all and sundry. 'Media reports' indicate he's hurt and upset. Well fuck him.
nufcjb
Is there a deadline for managers to sign contract or else he wouldn't be available to take charge of a team? Similar to player transfers in that to play a Saturday 3.00 pm game, you would have to be registered by noon on the Friday. If there aren't such things, couldn't Benitez like join on Monday morning and still be in the dugout for the night game?

Then don't know why some are fearing the Cathro-Beardo combo when Rafa might just sign in time.
Teasy
If we do get Benitez in (can't believe I'm even contemplating it..) we at least need to have him confirmed and at the match even if he's not officially picking the team. Just having him watching with the players knowing he'll be the new manager could help to motivate them.
Stifler
Liverpool fans for the majority are wishing him and us the best if it comes off. Fair play to them like, always thought they hated us along with Man Utd fans.

Marmoset
I don't really feel too broken hearted for him like, it can't be nice for him atm but he's been around the block enough to know this is the game sometimes. And he's got a significant compo coming. 'Fuck him' does seem a bit strong though
