Got his new contract and everything and seemed to have won alot of people over and then vanished? He is Spanish after all and dramatically improved with Rafa's guidance. Likely one of the defenders who wanted us to play the back 5 again and maybe spoke up when things were going to shit. Yorkie Posted January 31, 2021 Share Posted January 31, 2021 Waugh's article in The Athletic (in which he rushed to remind everyone that Bruce deserves credit ) pointed out how most of our attacks came down the right hand side; a lot of that will have been to do with Wilson but Manquillo played a huge part in that too. If he's been out of the team through tactical choice it's just more evidence of Bruce being clueless. He's easily the best full-back at the club these days.
