I don’t think they will have any issue selling players tbh.

It's more the wages. You've got CHO, Lukaku and Aubameyang all on 100k+ and they've scored 3 goals all season between them.

It's the same issue we've had shifting players. Seeing how the likes of Clark and Hendrick are getting on I've got no doubt the likes of Richie & others would do a good job in the Championship but finding a club willing to pay them £40k/week to do it is a challenge.

The worst thing about Chelsea’s post policy takeover is that they have one of the best academies going, but keep stockpiling star players they have no room to accommodate. Still their owner talks of pathways for young players. What is the pathway for a promising 17/18 year old attack midfield player now? Chelsea under Abramovic had finally become a successful and sustainable football club. Boehly seems to simply have set them back 15 years.

Not sure they were sustainable like, weren’t they accumulating millions in debt on a monthly basis? Pretty sure they were. They were miles off being sustainable, the only thing that kept them afloat was corrupt, laundered cash

Abramovich was having to pay around £1m a month out of his own finances (another company he owned), iirc.

“Chelsea’s debt to Roman Abramovich now exceeds £1.5 billion, spanning the Russian’s 18-year ownership of the Premier League club.

Annual accounts for Fordstam Limited for the financial year ending June 30, 2021 confirm that the oligarch poured a further £19.9 million of interest-free loans into Chelsea FC plc’s parent company last season, underlying the club’s continued reliance upon the Russian’s backing.

Chelsea, hampered by the financial ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic which largely condemned football behind closed doors throughout last season, recorded a pre-tax loss of £155.9 million for the year, despite being crowned European champions for the second time in their history in May.”

He won’t, unfortunately

i think the only thing we can take away from this as NUFC fans is that it has the potential to derail Arsenal. They'll be fucking fuming.
