Rafa will be sacked before he has any chance to take him off our hands, should have took that offer when it was made. Now the useless twat will end up with a new contract. toontownman
Guess rafas sacking means the end the longstaff exit talk. Maybe we can loan him somewhere. Scared we somehow don't seem to be worried about getting a couple of CMs in. Hopefully it will happen, it's just not been highlighted in the press as much as other positions. xLiaaamx
If we give him a new deal man. Hard to accept much has changed if we keep the deadwood on.
Thiago
He needs to get to a club that will play him as a DM. He's not mobile enough to be a top level box to box player.
wyn davies
May as well make him available this window if contract coming to an end and loan him out with a buy him clause.

No chance, we'll be booting him out at the end of the season. Decent free transfer for a league one play off chasing team.
Rich
Some shift today from this lad, mind. Not a perfect performance, and should’ve scored, but he finally seems to be recovering some sharpness.
toontownman
Still made some stupid passes but did his best to be Joelinton light. Longstaff looks much better on the left of a 3 imo. Ran his heart out aswell as a few duffers played some great passes. Great tackles and got stuck in.

Disco
Thought he was our best player for the last 30 minutes, was everywhere. Saw something today that showed he’s actually a pressing fiend too. Which isn’t something that would pass the eye test.

Consortium of one
Still a player there, apparently Good shift. He can press. Has to learn to keep his head up when on the ball.
Yorkie
Only saw the last 15 minutes today as I've mentioned but thought he played a huge role in seeing that out. He's got an engine on him, just sadly next to nothing else. Him, Fraser, Miggy - they're all like that. Really really want him to come good L. Didn't @ManDoonhave stats showing he has one of the lowest in the league? 0.4 per game or something? Maybe the truth's somewhere in the middle

Also note how high Joelinton is on that graph and hes only played that role since Howe came in, given a full season he could be top on that. Guest HTT II
Looked a man possessed when he come on, lots of pressing, energy and also gave some decent protection cover. Still bobbins though!
Klaus
He was better yesterday and put a good shift in, but sadly he just doesn't have the quality or the pace we need.

He's improving. I hope it continues. Dropped for the game yesterday but took his opportunity when it came, rather than going in a strop. I do feel his clash with Bruce was 6 and half a dozen, and it would have been best for everybody if he left, but he seems to buying into Howe and if he can get back on course with his development, he can still catch up. Don't think he'll increase his speed much, but his reading of the game could improve enough to cover some of that.
Guest Biggsbond14
Had a great cameo when he came on and thought he played with a bit more composure. Think he did most of his stuff on our left midfield and he had lots of space but not sure if that was bad marking or just genuinely playing well
Lenny
He's looked a touch sharper the last week or two and clearly benefitting from the improved fitness the players now have.
