Happinesstan
Playing at home to the worst team in the league with a man sent off after 20 mins, you'd normally be underwhelmed with anything less than a 2-0 win. But the positives were aplenty. Almiron looks to be the excitement we've been missing, and Daddy Longlegs is the fucking Daddy.

Stottie
The most comfortable 2-0 win I've seen in years. Unlucky that it wasn't more. Bright spots all over the team, and great to have the feel-good factor back. That chip by Almiron was outrageous and so nearly worked. The suggestion with Huddersfield was always that Wagner overachieved by keeping them up last year. Their players looked very poor today.

Mr Logic
Up to 14th 2pts behind Burnley, who are next, and just beat Brighton 3-1 away and Tottenham 2-1 home in their last two.
Big Geordie
Super win and performance today. A real pleasure to watch a game where we bossed it and never looked in danger. Almiron was excellent, but Sean Longstaff - superb. Future NUFC captain and England player.
Newcastle Fan
As good as a game this was i came out of it a bit frustrated that we didn't score more, but i'm happy that of all the games we choose to miss all those chances it's this one, as it was a very very comfortable victory in the end. Longstaff, Hayden, Almiron, Perez, and the back three all looked great, the wing backs can improve a bit.
Village Idiot
A pleasant afternoon of football. Been watching Sevilla-Barça so I only was able to catch the score updates on this one. I see it's been a nice performance, even though Huddersfield are shit so I will remain cautiously optimistic.
samptime29
Would've liked a couple of more goals, but overall very satisfied. We needed to win this game, and we delivered. Lots of positives.
Wilson
Amazing what buying one quality player has done for the team, any normal cunt of an owner would think 'let's push on and get some more!' Not ours though, he'll be rubbing his fat fucking hands at how much he'll get for Miggy.

BergenMagpie
Hope we exhausted our quota of bad misses (although Lössl had some great saves) today. Need to be more clinical against Burnley Defence did really well today. Longstaff was fking sublime. Shame he didnt get his goal - wouldve been goal of the week

loki679
Hayden and Longstaff deserve to keep their places no matter who else is fit based on their current form. Very impressive from both of them today.

Mole_Toonfan
It's almost like an actual no 10 would make a drastic difference to how a team performs, there's a reason why Rafa has been desperate for one since day 1.

It helps that it's a no 10 who is lighting fast. Gives us the sort of threat on the counter we had for a while with Kenedy last season. The front three is about as good an attack you could get on that sort of budget. Outstanding value.
