Robster
He'll get a bollocking from Ashley soon. He's getting dangerously close to Europe. That is not in his remit.
morla84
Mental that everyones doing the wrong jobs this season. Defenders finishing left right and centre, Carroll putting in a defensive masterclass, Shelvey heading it in like Shearer. I wonder if the coaches are getting their training sessions mixed up? "Ok Steve, you're taking your lads on finishing training, Steve, your lads are doing defending and Steve, your lot are doing headers"

samptime29
Wheres them Rafa graphs? Don't have any graphs but we're 9 points better off than at this stage last season. We hit 21 points against Cardiff, which was our 22nd game.
joeyt
Putting Schar in the centre was a bit weird and then he finally put him to the right and Fede in the middle

huss9
this guy is so fucking jammy. 2 shit team performances yet we come away with 4 goals and six points. unbelievable. found my self cheering again when we score. really want to like him, but its proving impossible for some reason - and it's nowt to do with Rafa. STM
I wouldnt mind so much but there is genuinely people on twatter that think hes better than Rafa. Results have been waaaaay better than the performances.
ToonArmy1892
Shades of the pards 5th season like, opponents missing sitters, our keeper making amazing saves, us taking nearly every chance, difference was we had goalscorers in Ba and Cisse, this simply can't continue as we haven't got any this time. VAR has been kind to us aswell so far.
midds
xG has had us bettering our opponents just twice this season (West Ham away and Bournemouth at home). Each of the other 14 games we’re on the wrong end of it. Results so far don’t really point to what’s actually happening and it doesn’t seem sustainable. Bit like Pardew’s 5th. We’re massively winging it and, fair’s fair, he’s getting results. Can’t help but things could very easily turn though. We’ll see.

It just doesn't stand up to any scrutiny whatsoever. In fact its fucking ludicrous. Well, except for back page supporters and twitter mongs.
Yorkie
The only thing that I think he deserves some praise for is Shelvey. Christ knows where this goal machine has come from. Aside from that, don't really know where the wins are coming from. We've not looked impressive at any point.
Mr Logic
Incidentally, who else would have taken Dummet off for Schar and pushed Clark left, Clark was the one doing most of the organising from what I could see.
sh74
If Clark wasn’t injured he was very unlucky to be taken off.

We'll tail off massively because of Steve Bruce, regardless of injuries.

Definitely. I assumed Clark had got an injury. Putting Schar on the left allowed them to score.
Disco
Lickspittles, Pardewistas and Nationalists in dream land. Boris Bruce leading the way to mediocrity to the utter dreams of many.
Greg
Incidentally, who else would have taken Dummet off for Schar and pushed Clark left, Clark was the one doing most of the organising from what I could see. Clark had a pulled/strained calf so would have been pretty hopeless if he had been left on.

Disco
Says it all about the state of the local media regarding the club and its coverage as well as the media at large and their priorities. Pleased I unfollowed him months back, Chronicle lot aren’t much better. My only surprise is the stayaways haven’t gone rushing back like they had to be their for the Arsenal game. Cronky
Come on guys, Rafa wasn't producing brilliant displays of attacking football. He was getting 10 men behind the ball and relying on counter attacks and set pieces. Bruce is getting results in the same way with more or less the same team. Hopefully the emergence of the Longstaffs and some good signings (yeah, I know) will make us a bit less one-dimensional. We can but hope.
