Takeover Thread - July 1st statement, Staveley letter to Tracey Crouch (and response) in OP

Tbf Keef has been bang on the money so far in terms of what to expect this week. Just really hope the story is so,etching to get excited about and is proof it’s going our way. I can’t see it, but I’m trying to shake the negativity and ready to jump back in.

The big news is surely evidence of collusion between the PL and the chosen 6 either in relation to the super league or directly to our takeover. Keith has pretty much spelled it out for us, has he not?

Yes I think that might be it!! Keith gets a hard time but he has been spot on so far... Patience and walk away from twitter etc and let it play out! Hopefully quick though

That kind of information is surely what NDM and the legal team is using. I find it hard to believe that after so many months of absolute silence, something like this is going to be blabbed all over the papers while the legal fight is still on going.

We have to be owned by the Saudi state, and massive Tory donors? We've done something really bad to deserve this

Hall has donated more than £500,000 to the Conservative Party and helped to fund Theresa May's snap general election in 2017.[12] In May 2017, he gave £25,000 to the Conservative Party.

Fucking hell the Guardian really don’t want this takeover to happen, almost as badly as that baldy cockney twat at the Telegraph.

I think that's fair enough from a socialist standpoint, I agree with it ethically. But football went beyond that eons ago, either you are on the inside, or you are on the outside looking in. If we want to be a football club that matters again, we don't have much choice but to get on board. Far easier for the Guardian to be objective since they don't care about NUFC as a club, their objections are more aimed at the system which has allowed this to happen.
