I said Emery would have sorted us out and made us hard to beat. But I was fed up of negative football and was excited to see Howe come in.

He has not really done much so far. Players are a fucking disgrace. But it feels like what he wants to do just isn’t translating with these players and the lack of pre-season and time with them shows. We still look like we have more of an idea than under Bruce. But he seemed to fluke wins somehow.

Maybe the right manager, wrong time? Still can’t buy a win and we keep throwing points away in our ‘must win’ games. Can’t see how we stay up, really. Not unless we do get 3-4 more players in.

I remember being more of a cunt and knee jerker than this. I’ll keep digging

Absolutely stoked for him. Is this his first Manager of the Month award?

4th.  One behind Keegan.    Wikipedia hadn't been updated.

Fifth.  Same as Keegan, one behind Bobby.

He won it for us last February as well after the relegation rescue act.

Three times with Bournemouth.

I still can't get over I had us dead and buried in January, and by end of February 'oooh we might actually do this'

When Bruce won the award didn't he just hog all the glory

Whilst Rafa included all his staff (not that there were loads tbf)

To be fair to the tactically inept cabbage head, he did say this: "For me to win is a reflection on the players and my staff. They work tirelessly, and without them there's no award to win."

No group photo though.

Graham Potter on on opponents Newcastle being in the top-four and whether it's a reflection of the money that's been spent, Potter said:

"I think it’s more of a reflection of the job Eddie Howe has done.

"They're good in all phases of the game. I really like what they're doing and how they're playing.

"He's improved the players and yes they've spent money.

"I could speak for half an hour about how nice Eddie is and how much I admire him because he's galvanised the team and the club is moving forward.

"Everyone will feel better if you can get the 3 points before the break but we know that Newcastle will be fighting for them too.

"It will be an exciting game."

Less of this please.  Trying to make us think slightly better of Bruce and that.
