They don't need a short term appointment. Just go for the best you can get right now, and try to get someone that could potentially develop into a long term option. All the reports on Fonseca were really promising as they said the consortium were really impressed by him. Think they're only holding back because they're listening to all the voices saying we need prem experience to avoid the drop. If he did well in the interview and you thought he was a really good manager that would do well then just go for it, and don't second guess it so much. You've got all these morons on Sky and Talksport saying we need a relegation specialist and I think that's affected the decision making a bit, as it has meant they are prioritising someone that knows the league. Not a proven top manager but a big improvement to what we just had. A manager that seems to have a plan. Only concern I have is of he is capable to attract the big-name players to come here.
