Please tell me we aren’t cooking the food and lighting the candles only for Liverpool and Chelsea to have dinner with him?

We’re doing that plus putting rose petals on the bed, fluffing the pillows and leaving the lube, cockring and Durex ticklers on the side table.

Similar aye but it showed the top 10 on Transfermarkt, but anyway point stands. I know fuck all because I haven't watched for years and just decided randomly to start reading the board again after posting a bit in the gaming section but my limited understanding is they rarely miss so aye probably should just follow them like sheep tbh.

I still find this one very hard to fully believe... although I'd love it to happen.

As I mentioned a couple of days ago, one of the sources I was speaking to seriously doubted this story, but his qualms were mainly with how Romano is used as a pawn (potentially paid) by selling clubs to flush out interest. I hope that's not what's happening here, but it all feels a bit wrong to me somehow.

You just had to ruin it with facts and logic didn't you.

That I could believe. He was exposed as getting secretly paid to shill the Club World Cup wasn't he?

If it does happen it's such a smart play by the club.

Sign a top striker with Isak means the play is either

a) Isak's last season but we own them both, sell Isak next summer and we aren't in the horrible financial jail of clubs knowing we had a wad to spend and NEED a top CF to replace Isak

b) We have a good enough season to keep Isak again next summer

Either way is really solid forward planning

If it's getting done tomorrow then ulube video would be a better description.

Assuming we were in for Pedro, why is it so surprising we would be in for Ekitike?  They are both versatile forwards who can play as 9, 10 or on the wing.  If we can get him for around £60-65m then he looks like the perfect signing - able to play with and in place of Isak.  Also, if we do lose Isak in the future Ekitike looks like the closest to him in terms of attributes and style that there is out there

I believe we're interested in him, but I can see it being similar to João Pedro where if someone else comes in and drives the price up, we'll back off. If we're going to get this done we need to move fast.

If we can afford it, it makes so much sense on every level. In a CL season we can definitely use them both liberally, and it puts us in a great position if clubs come hunting for Isak.

Maybe after the consistent interest we have shown he has unfinished business with us. What’s for you won’t go by you and all that. If it’s written it happen

Chelsea dont sell cheap. Delap will go for 60 plus and Pedro will be 80 plus.

Chelsea are literally what Brighton are, but on a higher budget. They bought delap to flip him in 2 years time for double the price.

They need buyers though.

I like Jackson. Unless he goes on loan first, they won’t get a penny over £50m for him in Europe.

Nobody is spending big money on Nkunku.

Madueke played lots for them.
