It was. Watch it and the right foot drag to make contact. I hate that type of  penalty but they are always given.

Yeah he makes the contact, would be plenty spitting blood if it was at the other end.  GK makes a stupid decision coming out though.

Totally but which ever side you're on you know they are always given. Nice to be on the given side for once.

Cracking penalty, he could have had another if ASM had weighted that ball properly at the end (although I think ASM hit a bad shot, not a pass).

I thought bad shot not pass! Still fooked it up mind ?

Made some great runs 2nd half. Think the pressure of being the only striker has gotten to him a bit, but so pleased he won and then stood up and took the penalty. He'll be a decent option on the bench next season imo. Never the long-term solution, but worth every penny right now.

Would like to see Wilson next to him for a few games. Reckon they could create a decent partnership...not that you see many duos upfront these days.

Amazingly he's much better on the deck. He's useless in the air really if you ignore aerial duels stat which is often flicks to nowhere. Actually had some movement tonight and this to me suggests we really need to stop playing hoof ball to him. Get it on the deck and get him making himself available to feet.

Don't like the way he went down for the pen one bit. A classic Harry Kane- looking for the contact shite.

The purist in me agrees with you.

For this season however, I don't care. Just got to get wins where and how we can.

Not sure if serious, but I'd have been raging if he hadn't left a foot in the onrushing keepers challenge tbh.

If the keeper is going to fly in like that he can't expect anything else. Might not be cricket but I don't want us to be the "honest football" standard bearer.

If the keeper is gonna chuck himself about like that then Wood has every right to leave a leg dangling.

WUM surely? I loved the way he used his experience to ensure the contact was made by dragging his heel along the ground. I wouldn't call it diving as such, more experienced and smart thinking.

It's a Vardy special. Get yourself between ball and player and wait for the inevitable foul.
