If he did join Man United after leaving Newcastle, I think that would be ridiculous personally. With how important a player he's been at Newcastle it would just be so hideous. if he wants to leave, look for a top club abroad and Newcastle should make things smooth for him. We are not where he probably hoped we would be by now, though to be fair Eddie and, to some smaller extent us all, have helped make him the player he is and I genuinely think he couldn’t have a stronger bond with NUFC and us. So here’s hoping that counts for something. Dawns on me that at the end of the game Joelinton then Bruno went over to Raphina and my first thought was hope they’re tapping him up. Unlikely I know. GEFAFWISP Posted March 19 Share Posted March 19 Think this squad is getting blown up this summer if any of the rumours ring true, potentially losing Tino, Tonali, Bruno, Willock and Hall, while Pope, Burn, Schar and Trippier are on the decline, Lascelles and Krafth gone, Wissa being left in Istanbul and Woltemade getting marched back to Germany. In saying that, I doubt we sell more than 2 of the big guns (Tino/Tonali), but we're left in a tricky situation regarding any rebuild. The League Cup winners and that 3-4 year window of a settled squad is coming to an end. Can't wait to see how we navigate the transfer market come summer...Saudi decisiveness is what we need...Ross Wilson gardening leave is what we'll get.
