Chris_R
I expect we lose this, but get through it with no injuries and another decent performance. Maybe we can steal something. Hopefully we see a bit more Bruno, but I doubt he'll start and will only get good game time if we're behind.
Chris_R
Also with Trippier out, Shelvey is guaranteed to start because of set pieces.
black_n_white
It’ll be the same team with targett and krafth coming in for the injured fullbacks
Colos Short and Curlies
Not the worst game to have to play Krafth in if Manquillo is out short term. If we'd lost against either Everton or Villa then we'd be looking at this game being one we really needed something from, however a loss now wouldn't be the end of the world. Bigger games coming fast after this one. Having said that it would be nice to give a top 4 team a bloody nose, and who better than the porn barons and Sugar's bitch. (For a bonus point there is bound to be a forced photo opportunity with Mandy and Brady in the press)

Anderson
Bit of a freebie this, would love to get something but a loss won't be too disheartening after the last few.
54
West Ham fans don't seem overly confident looking at there forum, although thats more to do with the fact they apparently never win an early Saturday kick-off then anything

Could give ASM more license to stay up front in a 2 with Wood, but more of a free role along the left Think if we go to a back 5 we bring in Bruno for Shelving unit. Don't need him sitting n front of a back 5 we need the midfield bossing the middle.

The Prophet
These have lost to Leeds and Southampton in their last five at home, so we can certainly get something, but it'll be really tough.

Thiago
I'd take a point given their form. That said, we may find some success in a game where we can be the counter-attacking side instead of having to dictate things.

huss9
after practically shitting myself pre-match the past few weeks, its nice to be free of any nerves coming up to this weekend. outside of the top 2 or 3, i reckon we could give anyyone a game now. Super Duper Branko Strupar
A point would be great, but they're a good side and we're weakened. I'll happily scratch it off as one of the games we can afford Trippier to miss. Would be canny disappointed if we didnt start Bruno, mind.
Thiago
I can't see Howe making any changes that aren't forced upon him. Targett in at LB, Manquillo/Krafth in at RB. We don't want to shaft ourselves by being too defensive. West Ham are going to be trying to dictate things and the pressure is on them as the home team to take the game to us. Stay fairly compact and isolate Maxi against Soufal and we should be good to at least cause problems.

We are still struggling to have 40% possession in games and I think he would be a massive solution to this.

Probably, and this will sound mental, but I'm just not sure who we sub him for at this precise moment. I think the midfield is in good form and it seems fairly well balanced. Mazzy
I really hope he doesn't change it to a back 5. Keep with the formation and the style that has got us here. Manq will fill in fine at RB while he is out and I'd rather see us pressure teams like we have been doing with the 2 rows of 3 than sit back with a 5 and try to soak up attacks. We've kept clean sheets playing how we are and Dubravka has barely had anything to do in the last 3 games. This isn't the time to change everything just because Trippier is out. Personally though it seems harsh, it would be Shelvey currently, as although Joelington becomes an absolute mess in the last third, he puts more pressure onto the opposing midfield. Willock is the one player who we need to get into the box, and that's the only reason also I would play him before Shelvey. McDog
My tactical knowledge relegates me to the role of bystander in the discussion, I can still have an uninformed opinion which would be to either throw Joe on the right wing or drop Willock.
