I expect we lose this, but get through it with no injuries and another decent performance. Maybe we can steal something. Hopefully we see a bit more Bruno, but I doubt he'll start and will only get good game time if we're behind.

Not the worst game to have to play Krafth in if Manquillo is out short term. If we'd lost against either Everton or Villa then we'd be looking at this game being one we really needed something from, however a loss now wouldn't be the end of the world. Bigger games coming fast after this one.

Having said that it would be nice to give a top 4 team a bloody nose, and who better than the porn barons and Sugar's bitch.

(For a bonus point there is bound to be a forced photo opportunity with Mandy and Brady in the press)

Think we may be tempted to go 5 at the back, dropping Fraser.

Could give ASM more license to stay up front in a 2 with Wood, but more of a free role along the left

Think if we go to a back 5 we bring in Bruno for Shelving unit. Don't need him sitting n front of a back 5 we need the midfield bossing the middle.

Back in the toon for this one, although my train has fucked me and I’m going to miss the first half. Where’s the closest place to the central station showing the match? Couldn’t care less anything else about the pub, just the closest one

Think the Centurion shows the games

Laughed at shelving unit way more than I should [emoji38] [emoji38]

He's more mobile than he was but then again he used to move like he was in Tussaurds

West Ham fans don't seem overly confident looking at there forum, although thats more to do with the fact they apparently never win an early Saturday kick-off then anything

They’ve had two this season, Chelsea and Kidderminster, and won them both so not sure why they think that ??‍♂️

I can't see Howe making any changes that aren't forced upon him. Targett in at LB, Manquillo/Krafth in at RB. We don't want to shaft ourselves by being too defensive. West Ham are going to be trying to dictate things and the pressure is on them as the home team to take the game to us. Stay fairly compact and isolate Maxi against Soufal and we should be good to at least cause problems.

Still think Bruno will be the perfect player to stop teams from dictating games. We are still struggling to have 40% possession in games and I think he would be a massive solution to this.

Probably, and this will sound mental, but I'm just not sure who we sub him for at this precise moment.

I think the midfield is in good form and it seems fairly well balanced.

I really hope he doesn't change it to a back 5. Keep with the formation and the style that has got us here. Manq will fill in fine at RB while he is out and I'd rather see us pressure teams like we have been doing with the 2 rows of 3 than sit back with a 5 and try to soak up attacks.

We've kept clean sheets playing how we are and Dubravka has barely had anything to do in the last 3 games. This isn't the time to change everything just because Trippier is out.

Good question, but I honestly believe that the team will be more balanced and better with him in it. Personally though it seems harsh, it would be Shelvey currently, as although Joelington becomes an absolute mess in the last third, he puts more pressure onto the opposing midfield. Willock is the one player who we need to get into the box, and that's the only reason also I would play him before Shelvey.

My tactical knowledge relegates me to the role of bystander in the discussion, I can still have an uninformed opinion which would be to either throw Joe on the right wing or drop Willock.

Can only drop Willock
