Because he disappears when he starts getting stick or when his team are not doing well and then reappears again when their is once their is some perceived positive news or results. When he first signed up, he also said he took no notice of RTG, then dropped himself in it when he started going on about Sima. He then conveniently ignored requests to give his username on there

Fair enough, I just thought you must have challenged him to a duel or something and he declined....  :D

Love it when they talk of the percentages of the airport owned by the various councils. Apparently Sunderland council owns 17% and Newcastle owns 16%.

The meltdown and fyewm will be apocalyptic if PIF ever do buy the 49% stake or whatever it was that was rewmoured, marra. #FTM

Looks as if Sunderland Council were happy for it to be built a long way from Sunderland 🤣

Spent £100 million already, according to Downie, live from SOL training field. He wanted to show all the new signings but they weren't there, as their visas hadn't come through.

It still looks like they're going to be starting the season with O'Nien as a starter and captain. They might edge towards 30 rather than 20 points.

ROCK BOTTOM I tell ya!

I think some of the mackems' business looks quite canny (not enough to keep them up, so far, but smart decisions for longer term), tbh, but I don't think Adingra is the one. Work with a load of Brighton fans and they don't rate him at all.

Figures really, if he was rated they'd keep him or he'd be on his way to somewhere other than Sunderland.

More edge towards 20 instead of 10. Like they were proper shit coming up, this is just potentially nudging them to 20 at best.

The outrage from their fans when they start of shit will be jokes. Probably demand manager is sacked and want someone like Ange to push top half as they believe that’s what the squad is.

I still think they will struggle to not beat Derby's  record. A team full of either championship level standard, Roma and Brighton rejects and massive gambles from abroad. Add in the fact that already four of their squad (the new signings) are probably missing for a number of weeks due to the AFCON. Very similar transfer strategy to Burnley a couple of years ago. We know what happened there. Wallsendmag is right, just laugh at them, as come August reality will be in full swing.

Coupled with an almost uniquely toxic fanbase when things are going wrong and the bewwwwws are ringing out. As these daft cunts would say - GERLD.

It's hilarious how ALL their signings are off to AFCON in January..

but not as hilarious as the fact that they refuse to address their chronic lack of height. Of the players that are likely to feature next season - they have only Ballard who is above 6ft ahahaha

AFCON is in December this year…and when do we play them? 🤔

Fuck letting them use that as an excuse. They will all be playing anyways

Not that it really matters, but according to this map the airport is in the Callerton and Throckley ward of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

I think they are getting confused about where it was pre the boundary changes in 1974.

Also, distance from the city is measured in distance from the main post office, I live 6 miles from the city centre but can walk in to the city boundaries in about 5 minutes.

They haven't signed anyone who looks like they will make a significant impact on their forthcoming season. Unless one of the cast offs or squad fillers they've bought turns out to be the surprise signing of the season it still looks like a squad way short for the PL and rock bottom probably beckons.

Maybe Reg can work some magic, but nothing he did last season would indicate that's possible.
