Cattletrucked
It could still happen …doubt it but I’d not be shocked, as it’s all went very quiet and that’s how we seem to operate with getting players signed.

Paullow
Maddison would cap off an absolutely amazing 2022 year in terms of transfers. Imagine this time last year lining up with Pope, Trippier, Botman, Bruno, Maddison, Isak to accompany decent players like ASM, Wilson, and a rejuvenated Joelinton. Crazy. Doubt it happens, but would be unreal.

nufcjb
Problem is, other clubs will now see him as a possible target with Leicester's position and situation right now as opposed to the summer where no one really believed they could've signed him apart from us. Ronson333
from the Leicester forum: Was at the match, madders stayed longer than any other player after the match. He just stood still and stared at the away fans. Justin had to pull him away. Looked like an absolutely broken man. Look what you've done to our star Rodgers you muppet. RodneyCisse
Sad their fans don’t realise it’s their owners letting all the good players go every season.
huss9
looks like its slowly unravelling there and its starting to affect the players. owners more than coaches fault but he has spent money poorly.
The College Dropout
Rodgers needs to go. The job isn’t serving him and he’s just waiting for a payday. A new decent coach will get them midtable. They can’t get rid of the players so they’ll need to get rid of the manager.
Kid Icarus
It's an odd situation though because Rodgers is obviously a good manager and has shown that at Leicester. Maybe it's a case of this being what happens when you don't freshen up the squad and the repercussions of that.

They don't generate enough money for a sustained challenge to the establishment, so have to box clever. A couple of bad moves and they don't have the capability to throw money at the problem like manu do every 2 seasons. Leicesters days of top 6 and winning things are all but over. Major downsizing incoming and owners whose hearts are not in it seek to claw back some of the money they've invested.

Not sure if it's true, but isn't the line coming out of Leicester that they were fucked up by Covid more than anyone else?
HaydnNUFC
Leicester/Rodgers have pissed a lot of money up the wall; Vestergaard, Soumare, Perez, Praet. They have a sub-standard keeper, lost their best CB, Tielemans wants away, we've been sniffing around Maddison who has been moved to RM to accomodate Dewsbury-Hall and the manager has more or less blamed the fans after today. If Rodgers is sacked tomorrow I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest. But who can they get? Their finances are fucked, are downsizing the squad and their better players either want away or are too old (ie Vardy, Evans) and there seems to be apathy throughout that club now. Just totally stale. I would be surprised if Maddison extends his contract, like.
Jaqen
Leicester only have a £35m net spend over last 5 seasons. How come they are so fucked financially? Basically 1/10th of what teams like West Ham have spent who've finished similar positions.
