HawK
Paraphrasing Howe's Sky interview: Said we had the worst possible start against City. Full credit to his players today for how they performed. We brought physicality to the match, wanted to make them uncomfortable and get the crowd in the match. Wanted City to leave thinking they'd been in a game. Pressing high is a balancing act, because 2 or 3 forward passes in a row and you're in trouble but have to credit the team they did it very well. We switched off for a couple of moments and got punished, rode our luck a little bit but also a constant threat. Shown we were capable and gave our best physicality. Technically we're improving, must do it on a consistent basis home and away. Proud of Miggy every time he puts on the shirt, lovely touch from the supporters (the flag). OpenC
What happened to dear old Jack Grealish then? Injured or just not deemed worthy of going up against Almiron in the end?
Vinny Green Balls
Holy shit! was not expecting this result. Out filming for the day, and glad that I was. Sounds like I may have died watching it.
Holloway
We just lack that 10% to put opponents like this to the sword, in emotional scenarios like this. We"re really not that far off
Guest HTT II
Says it all that I’m gutted we didn’t win, we were great going forward and went toe to toe with them, defensively we could have done better, but we were 3-1 up against the Champions. The claim was that he’d picked up a knock, but more likely Guardiola had the nous not to use him and let him get Pickford-ed by the home crowd. Not like they’re short of good reserves to bring on. WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Obviously. We were exceptional.
Mahoneys Tache
Today we are as good as city. I’ll take that. Being fifth is a significant cherry.
prefabtoon
Top Effort today getting a draw against 12 men, im counting the ref in that and his 100 minutes. Well done all of them fought like Spartans.
The Prophet
What a class game. Against any other team I'd be furious with throwing a way a two goal lead, but it's City. We went toe to toe with arguably the best team in the world and came away with a point.
Nucasol
Brighton’s win at Wist Am also puts our result in a different context. Delighted by today, hope we can carry it into the next two away games.

TK-421
Great game, and just highlighted the progress from last season, to put 3 past Man City, and be disappointed to only take a point in the end, considering the 4-0 and 5-0 last season. Miggy right place to knee it in on the slide, another great finish by Wilson, and Tripps....
worthy
What an insane game - Some more luck and a better bench and we could have had the three points. Ref was daft imo - The early yellow on Bruno was suddenly not yellow every time City did the same. And the Joelinton yellow I feel was also way harsh especially when he should have had a freekick the moment before. ASM was truly the level that we all have waited for. If we get a bit more quality on the pitch we will be a force to be reckoned with, the gegenpress play in the first half was just truly amazing. Fucking fantastic job from the whole gang.
